I've learned to ignore the "thumbs down folks" because it's obvious they are not listening, and not appreciating the talent of the musicians plying their trade. This is a tribute to a wonderful star and an awesome Blues masterpiece. Well done, Mule!

He never sings the line: "I don't want to be free" which adds much more depth. He just keeps repeating lines he already sang. He makes it a much more ordinary song without that line. Wish somebody would tell him he's missing a major part of that song.

Janis Joplin would of been proud of this bluesy take back from days when heart and soul was put into the making of this sound, very few could have pulled this off. Her voice made me think of Joplin and that doesn't happen till today!!!

I absolutely love this song. I remember seeing Etta James and Dr. John perform on a B.B.King and Friends special. I've seen the recent performances of Warren performing this with Susan Tedeschi and then Beth Hart playing with Bonamassa and Beck. This performance is amazing. I get goosebumps and chills when I hear it.
