The lines with words "This is it, this is real and I feel this is right" make me feel like she is singing about her long way to the Final and joy that she've finally quilfied. Proud of her!
I cried at the line "Finally right" from the whole beauty and emotion that she sang it with!

You can see she was really happy she finally did it. Although I agree with most of you, Crisalide was better but I was so happy she finally qualified. We will forget about her first year participating (and trolling) Europe but she gave us two beautiful songs and performances to remember forever. I can't believe she is over forty already, looks so young. Valentina, you are our queen.

Well, now we have 2 shitty songs (Spirit of the Night and Social Network Song) from her and 2 good (Maybe and Crisalide) so it's pretty much 50-50 :P I heard she asked to represent San Marino again in 2018, let's hope she wins so we can see ESC live from her garden xD I am actually kidding, I love her as an artist and looks a great person to hang out but she indeed had 2 shitty songs!

The Man on the Piano is german composer Ralph Siegel who is responsible for many german entries in the past (incl. 1982 winner Nicole) . he composed all of Valentinas entries. Nice to see him get some shine here.. german press likes to blast & clown him. BTW : Valentina's live performances are better than the studio versions somehow... GREAT live singer

hkw4eva No comparison. This was a deserved qualification. The 2019 one was because of Turkish diaspora.
Turkish people in participating countries could take vote but I think Serhat qualified because he performed last and because it is a fun song.
Alejandro He made the top 10 in the televote, it was the jury that dragged him down to 19th place. Still he kind of got very few points for a 10th place
