In December 2012 the country had ~32.000 citizens.... So how many decent singers may be among them? ;) Glad for her though, she deserved to reach the grand final!

If this song won't pass the semifinal, make sure that there is no justice on Eurovision Song Contest!
So True,during the Eurovision controlled by the Soviet Union mutually buy votes and may set the qualifying group so everything through to the final though not great and always use English and seemed likewise Nordic,Nordic in Eurovision 2014 song sent less attractive to qualify for the Final. Non-qualifying countries of Western Europe and Yugoslavia, especially San Marino, Portugal, and Montenegro are always underestimated and rigged. I think the next Eurovision Song Contest to be followed only Nordic, the Soviet Union, Malta, Belgium and the Netherlands, and Germany who all use English songs anyway.

I do love Valentina, she's a real trier at this contest. It is the third year in a row that she has been picked to represent San Marino, sadly twice never reaching the Final. This is a pleasant enough song, if perhaps a little outdated, and she sings it nicely. She will be in the first semi-final and up against some strong competition. I am hoping that at last she makes it through to the Final, but it will be tough going. She is an endearing young lady who deserves a third-time lucky break.
