you can't do that anymore, after 1980 a rule was introduced that state; if you win, you host the next year.. if San Marino does win, it will have to host... but i think that would be fun.. it would be interesting to see what they would do
ellibod1 I wont mind an outdoor stage with no lead screens. It will look vintage. Its going to be nice to have a break from over the top production for just one year. Miss Universe did it once, Instead of a studio they held it in an ancient Colosseum. In case of San Marino they can do it at the castle on their flag or in the middle of a park.

I totally agree! The fact that both this and Montenegro made their final debut (first time since 2008 that happened) should inspire atleast the balkans to come back next year, and hopefully some other usually unfortunate countries like Slovakia and - probably won't happen - Czech Republic to come back :D

Montenegro and San Marino proved last night that there are no "doomed" countries in this contest and should you have a good song and perform it well, you pass through deservedly. :)

Last night I thought that God is just!. Je je. I cried with emotion and joy to hear "San Marino" and see the explosion of happiness in the entire delegation of San Marino. "Maybe" is a WONDERFUL song and an Valentina is a excellent interpreter full of talent and sensitivity. I,m very happy. Hopefully San Marino won this festival. At least in my dreams is the winner. I love you Valentina, and I admire you, Mr Siegel. 12 points to San Marino from a spaniard (from Spain).

I'm watching Eurovision from 2006, and it was worth watching only to hear that San Marino and Montenegro made it to the Final. It was the happiest and the craziest moment for me in the Eurovision history.
