If you pay 2 million for a car, and a couple years later its worth 10 million... thats a 10 out of 10 for value Doug.

if you ignore insurance, maintenance etc... and no, this car is worth 2 million but isn't 4 times better than a 500.000$ car so, it's bad value. Especially since it's useless on public roads and I sincerely doubt that any owner will take this on a track. So yeah, a Nissan GTR is much better value: a looot cheaper, usable on public roads and fun on track without risking crashing 2 millions.
He's judging it by the value now not the value when it first released
It's value is 10/10 if you buy it new for 2 million and 2/10 if you buy it used for 10 million.
@@Mangalex28 that's practicality, it has nothing to do with value. And ofc its worth its money if couplenof years later its value is 5 TIMES MORE. Obviously you don't know that when u buy it but since we do in this case I'd say its value is 10/10.

If you can afford to buy a $10 million car, you can afford to restore it if you crash it. Also, Koenigsegg crashed the same car like 5+ times for the safety tests, restoring it every time.

Cars like this are just engineering works of art. The goal is to design the most incredibly performing and beautiful car ever made no matter the expense. It’s sad they don’t have a racing team cuz they’re just unbelievable. They just sort of become known as the toys of trust fund kids. Christian Koenigsegg is an incredible car maker who deserves to be up there with names like Enzo Ferrari.

I don't know anything about cars, I'm just here because my son was telling me about the Koenigsegg so I wanted to learn more about them becuase he's interested in them. I've never watched a car video but I loved watching Dougs enthusiasm, and the fact that a fan offered him the opportunity to do this. That's pretty awesome!

@@JTM610 loud means nothing theres tons of loud dailys... trackhawks, durango SRT/hellcats, Lamborghini Urus, hellcat chargers, CT5 blk wing, ect... Fuel also isn't a factor when you're that rich and ofc the suspension is harsh its literally a road legal race car. Not saying its a great daily or even a decent daily but it's definitely usable.

6:13 - No, Koenigsegg doesn't make "everything." Those seat belts and latches definitely came from a supplier, and I'm betting a lot of other parts did, too. Pretty sure they have to outsource production of their "ghost" buttons, but I may be wrong about that one. They're definitely not making nylon from scratch and weaving it into safety belts.

The ghost symbol belonged to F10 Ängelholm fighter wing 101. fighter division Johan Röd. The last flight of the AJS 37 Viggen was painted in all red with the ghost everywhere along side the show must go on :)
