Thanks for the great video. A lot of videos showcase a simple clean out of the cylinder but this is much more in-depth and just what I was looking for.
I have a Makita GN900 Nail Gun. The builder I bought it from on Facebook sold it to me for only $ NZ 40- because it "doesn't go". I couldn't believe my luck. In a case, with Charger, 2 x batteries, and 3 gas cylinders, (2 of 3 were brand new cylinders). I've watched 2 other RUclips video clips, where they didn't strip it down completely. Just degreased & re-oiled cylinder. (I knew there must be more to it than that - more complicated). So this was the 3rd RUclips video-clip, (best one) and now I know how to get this Makita GN900 working again.
Oooo.woow.im really happy that I could help you.I was really in doubt about that video.I was thinking that I didn't catch all the details on camera to actually help someone to disassemble and reassemble.ty
if you don't want to stay for houers scrubbing down on the extremley dirty parts then i think its a good idea to use a ultrasonic cleaner. If you own one
help ful video for complete cleaning as this gun mechanic is a bit strange at the first time, but coming easy after this video. I understand that cleaning is the common service to do. But what about the mechanical wear evaluation? how can we evaluate that this tool is too worn out?
Hi.gist look for scratches and visible damadges.when you do a deep clean like that is good to look for a maintenance kit and change all the wearing pieces it's easy to finde the kit on internet.i didn't need it.thanks for your msg
Please can you tell how the piston is returned after firing a nail. My gun fires the first nail but the piston does not return, everything is all cleaned and lubed.
I've spent 3 hours cleaning it. New Gas Cylinder. New nails. Battery fully charged. Oiled. I can hear the fan working. But it won't "Fire" when I press it against wood. Doesn't seem to be building up any gas pressure inside the cylinder. The O-Ring is a bit "past it". But I haven't got another one (shop's closed, it's Sunday). Would there be any reason why it isn't working? Or just the large O-Ring at the back of it? Or could air be leaking out the Exhaust Port?
make sure that the gas is passing trought the nozel and the wiers are all conected.if problem with the o rings then it will miss fire but fire some times.make sure that the fan is working
Thanks for your msg and yes i totally agree. I'm working on my skills and try to improve on each video that i make and i also invested a bit more on the equipment.Your message will definitely help me to improve even more. Please drop a comment on one of my latest video's and let me know what do you think.ty

On the 8 of June the video of paslode im65 for 2nd fix is going live
Please can you tell how the piston is returned after firing a nail. My gun fires the first nail but the piston does not return, everything is all cleaned and lubed.
You need to check or change the seal's on the piston
Could be a broken reed valve

Great video how do you clean the outside to get it looking new again?
Sorry I never tried that usually they are to scratch to make them look new.i believe you could try some uPVC cleaner or alcohol
You can use the Paslode cleaner. It is designed to not melt the plastic.
Good to know
@Karsyn Valentin im glad all works well for you
No talk or show of o rings
Or bumper.. To check and or replace....thank you
i will make a other video soon with a maintenance kit

Привет, гвозди 90мм под углом забивает доконца?
нет, я поставил полный комплект
Why does no1 clean the magazine when that contributes to misfire
That can be cleaned without to much complications. Iam really trying to make the videos as short as possible
there seems to be a filter missing
give me the minute or let me know were to look maybe i cut by mistake when editing.ty
do you meant the small filter at the top that is at the minute 4:27 it gist fall from the metallic support
Hiii friend puedes poner subtítulos por favor
Sorry I can't do that
You know some people Pay $100 to service the Paslode nail guns
That's way not to detail videos on RUclips
great content, but lousy video editing and music
