How can I bring back the production to the standard tuning... capistans on cassette machines wear down with time causing the track to go out of tune so I figured it would be easier to accomplish with the digital medium.. Anyone from the 70s will know this pitch problem.

Is there any "slicing mode" like Logic has that doesnt stretch the audio when quantizing but rather just trims and crossfades the regions? Edit: Nvm I see now have to change action to slice.
How can you change the default track setting to “don’t follow”. Every time I add a new audio track and start recording guitar I get the snowflake icon and then when I change it to “don’t follow” the snowflake goes away.
Gregor, we need a little window by the session BPM that displays the current tempo for what ever is playing so we don’t have to rely on melodyne. Please help us out my guy
for some reason in a specific file, the Soundstrech icon on the cursos desappeared while pressin ALT+CTRL. Do anybody knows how to returni it? (In other files it appears)
But how to do a drum track that starts out at the right tempo/ speed but that gets faster as the song goes? Like the first 2 to 4 bars would be in time but by the end the drums are 1.5 seconds too fast. How to time stretch that so it plays evenly to the click tempo?
Am looking forward to a beat mode with a transient control like Ableton and also an elastic with a formant control would be nice pls presonus. The request is already on the forum page.

Why isn't this working...? Sush an easy and common action takes me forever with S1. Very frustrating...i have de Stretch audio files enabled, and also in the tempo field. Have to do it manually which shouldn't be that hard, but then the start of the clip constantly moves along....wow.
Timestretch für Sprachaufnahmen kann ich quasi gar nicht verwenden. Die Stimme wird so stark verändert, dass es furchtbar klingt (auch mit der Solo-Einstellung). Kann man das noch irgendwie optimieren?
Timestretching kann nur dann gute Ergebnisse erzielen, wenn das Originaltempo der Datei in den Tempoinformationen gespeichert ist. Das kann man mit einem Rechtsklick auf den jeweiligen Event im Arrangement einstellen. -GBY

An algorithm with formant control would be amazing. Obviously we can do so through melodyne but it would be awesome to do this without it

how do you change all vocals to "sound" or "solo" all at the same time? If I select all tracks, it doesn't change all settings at once for some reason

I am so upset i didn't know about this till now. I been using studio One for almost 10 years now haha. But glad i learned it eventually
