I use Studio One as my only DAW and you still taught me something in the first minute. But mostly I enjoy ... "Hi folks I'm Mike and I hope you're well" ... just makes me smile every time. Great stuff and super happy you are doing these S1 videos
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant! I have tried this many times before, but always got stuck at the point where all the markers were not lined up with each other across tracks. I might be going crazy, but I don't remember reading this in the manual. (Still using version 5) Choosing one track to analyze first, then regrouping just blows my mind. I would have never figured this out on my own! The daws today are so complex, this is a valuable technique that will be added to my toolbox.
you are THE export!! my god all these video's are soooooooooooooo helpful ! and i use S1 almost daily! but i just keep on using the basic stuff rec/loop etc etc..
NOTE: (never saw this in any tutorial) The bend marker will not analyze if the track has been grouped. You must BOUNCE the track to see markers.(Windows)
I have a multitrack prerecorded folk type song. Its a couple singing with one guitar. Their tempo timing is all over the place. I want to add other instruments, percussion, keys, etc. But I need to get the tempo consistent. Can quantizing help with this?
Hi Mike. I love the audio bend function. I set up the timestretch, timing, analyze settings and it sounds great, until I hit APPLY. Then the track becomes distorted. Any ideas? THANKS!
Can you bend pitch rather than time of the audio using this drawn envelope format? The only way I can see to do this is by loading the audio into a sampler and using the pitch bend in the expression Section which is annoying because it also effects time.😕

Been using S1 for seven years and didn't know you could add a bend point manually. Once again, Mike confirms he's the expert!
You are a fantastic teacher. Much appreciated. You have helped me so much!!!

To be honest, I think I just did it by mistake one day and thought "oh, I like that!"
A good refresher course for me; I like how you were able to change all the drums. Kudos to you!
Wow, now that looks very handy and powerful. Thanks much for explaining it in such detail!
Glad it was helpful!
These Studio One videos are excellent.

Hi MIke! I had a question. Would this work if the tracks were Midi?

Hero!!
I'm using the Artist version. Seems I have to 'dissolve' the track first?

I record lots of Jazz bands. So no click or grid. Is it possible to quantize the bass track to the drums’ transiants as a reference ?
