Aaaaah! That was amazing! What a fun and educational project to be a part of with other uke players and singers from around our beautiful globe! 'COMMUNITY!!!' YES! Thanks to James Hill, Chris Parsons and the always visual creative talents of Marta Vorontsova on the video! YIKES...fantastic.
Wowza! High fives all around to James and the Ukeheads!!!! As a member of Ukuloudly, I can hear in this recording why James refers to Ukeheads as our "big brother" band. Not in any creepy 1984, "Big Brother is watching you" way , but in a heartfelt 2024, "I'm listening to you big brother, and I am SO amazed by what I'm hearing!" way.
I'm a happy UH to be all together now on ukuLOUDLY, too. 💞Great to have new kids in the hall (uh, a Canadian ref). We're still just 'kids' ourselves, though, really...speak for myself. It's James's composing with all of us in mind that makes it possible, me thinks...some of us just got to the trough a tad early, that's all 🤷...onward!
Great song, great lyrics, I am a huge fan. I feel Philip Philips would love it. Or some country singer. You could make alot of money writing songs for country singers. Like huge money with royalties.
Love it. Another great video for Uke Heads! I'm not sure there is much of a crossover audience, so no one may know what I am talking about here, but I have to say that this video has very strong Bioshock/Rapture vibes.
The ukuleles take a bit of a backseat here, but once again they lyrics are incredibly original and the song structure inventive. And of course, Marta Vorontsova goes above and beyond with her fertile imagination and technical prowess. I'm an American, but is it okay if I say "Good on All Y'all"?
Plenty of ukes in here, but, with Marta's amazing graphics you might need to close your eyes here and there to hear them. HaHa! They are there in abundance. JH IS our lead, of course...and with his beautiful baritone added. Sweet!
:) The massed ukes play that repeating single note through the verses and double the piano in the choruses. The distorted baritone uke is what makes it sound rockin'. Ukes everywhere!

Sounds and looks amazing! 💖Congrats, James, Marta, and all the Uke Heads! If there's ever a "Uke Heads: The Musical," this would be a rockin' scene. 😉
Present and ready! ❤❤❤

Hey guys
fantastic artwork!!! ...I did something "bad": I played it in a higher speed - and loved it (even more). Anyway:
Lots of singing here but where are all those ukuleles? Sounds like Rock to me? What am I missing? Use Heads?

NOTE: As of 15/02/24 the website given for (REMARKABLE!) lyric video creator Marta Vorontsova is not valid. Still in the works perhaps?
I love this, but I can’t really make out the ukuleles…!?!
