    Guys don't worry for everything. You are in the land that times passing by different. Let me tell you something about my story. I had a job not bad one neither great but was ok. We were planning our wedding with my wife. My wife lost her job 2 months before the wedding and at the day of wedding i lost mine. Let me tell you that our wedding was great we had so fun and didn't bother us our misfortune with our jobs because we're knew who we are and what we are capable off. We have a saing here in Greece that the already wet man don't afraid the rain. So as you said the life is sort to be unhappy. Enjoy your life and you are so welcome to our big 10mill😂 Greek family.

    Thank you for this video as it reminds me that we can survive on less and that most importantly we are survivors. My wife left Poland with nothing and built a business and we are both entrepreneurs like you who can do so many different things and when you stick together as a team you can achieve anything even faster. You guys make a good team and reminded us not to be afraid and make the move also.

    The most precious thing you guys have is each other. The energy and ideas that you have and most important the support from one to other is the best receipe for success. I think you made a good decision to move to Greece because a happy environment can be inspiring and less stressful plus it can also multiply love and feelings from two young people towards each other. If you add all these up plus some more that you will discover on process it all leads to Happiness which trust me is more important than money. I wish you all the best and a nice exciting journey full of good experiences

    That was a very interesting video guys. It might look like just another "talking heads" video but it was really nice learning a little bit more about you, your journey, the struggles and endeavours.
    Moving to another country and leaving your comfort zone can be terrifying for some of us. I have a friend that made the same leap like you, moving to England, over fifteen years ago. He didn't last that long, he came back after just six or seven months, much disappointed with the way of life and job opportunities. Another friend moved to Denmark and was nicely settled in, but decided to come back after three years. He just couldn't stand the climate and was physically and mentally affected by it.
    I know that's not the story for everyone, lots of people thrive after moving to a new environment. I come from a small and poor island, immigration was the only way out some decades ago. The island was depopulated after WW2 (my grandpa migrated to Germany for 2 years in the 60's) and has been in steady decline since then. I'm pretty sure, although I can't prove it, that the people that have roots to this island and live abroad are more than the active population living here now.
    It was also very interesting learning about your various business endeavours. I heard somewhere that your job defines who you are. I'm not sure If I entirely agree, but my second question to every new acquaintance (after asking about their name) is what do they do/where do they work.
    I always admire people that prefer to do their own thing rather than just work for someone else. I tried myself freelancing in the past and although the freedom of choice and working hours were great it also presented some problems, the main being income revenue. When you don't have a steady income it's hard to make plans. I'm really happy for all those that made it though.
    I was very much impressed with the newborn photography gig, those few shots looked amazing, but finding out that you made all those props by hand takes this thing to another level. Many skills and lots of creativity are required for something like this. Kudos!
    Thanks again for sharing your story, best of luck for the future.

    • @Sunpire
      @Sunpire  Месяц назад +3

      Wow! Thank you so much for your kind words and appreciation! 🙏🙏 This means so much to us!
      The examples you gave are very relatable. I think many people try to relocate and struggle, we felt that too at times in the Uk. Living abroad may look like a success for many, but the truth is there is a lot of sacrifice. Although for some, it might be easier than for others.
      Being a freelancer/ self-employed is a lifestyle in itself. You have to be prepared always to start over, to fail, to learn, and to have savings. The work is not consistent. You don't have the stability of a job. And you are definitely affected by everything that's going on worldwide(pandemic, war, just to name a few😅). All that being said, it's the best thing for us. Having our freedom is everything. We wouldn't change it.
      Thank you again for watching and taking the time to share your thoughts with us! We are always excited to connect with our RUclips friends!

Also, could get more business by introducing yourselves to DJs at clubs who may be doing side gigs at weddings and could refer you to photo and video the wedding. I enjoy your videos and variety. Hi guys,I’m a new subscriber to your channel and enjoying every single video you post. Your life story is somewhat similar to mine but not the same. What we have in common is the fact that you are not afraid of the unknown and you’re risk-takers. As long as you’re hardworking people, you will always have a job and you will always succeed. Discipline and Perseverance is the ANSWER to success.
    Changing the subject, can you tell me what made you decide to choose Greece in preference to so many other countries? I’m intrigued.

    Yeah welcome to the UK, where depression is your no 1 object. I am leaving as well but unfortunately im not as young as you guys to just drop and leave like this but i hate it here especially now, its depressive, miserable, no weather no life no social here. your neighbour could be dead and you wouldn't know. in 25 years no neighbour has ever invited me for coffee here. there is no life here whatsoever and now with the way things going most are leaving UK coz even the work is crap now

    Kalimera Raul and Amalia as I’m watching the first few minutes of your sacrifices to your journey to move to Crete brought emotions don’t give up if a day goes with bad signs. Amalia I hear you say that you’re a photographer so I’m bring you a book on wedding photography that you can explore in wedding photography. I started my 35 years in photography in sports photography and people would ask me on the sports fields if I can photograph weddings I would say yes.. long story short my point is you both have a photography store people will see you both as couple will trust you to hire you for weddings. I was self taught in photography and got me in professional sports and top best 10 in my city Montréal I covered 3 FIFA soccer Cups ..I’m so excited to talk about how I got my talent behind the camera 📸 I was simultaneously worked 44 years in mechanical designer.. I had my 35 mm cameras in my car after work i would have a photo-assignment after 7 p.m. .. you’re both on great path follow photography you’ll be never with out work it will take a couple of years to build you name and trust of people. I’m visiting Chania in October we have to meet and show you of what I explain.. I can see you both support each other .. so explore in wedding photography look at pictures in magazines or photo studio windows.. simple 👏🏻
