- In this video I show you how to train a pit bull to come when called! Also known as the recall command. This obedience command is important because if can help your dog avoid dangerous situations such as a busy road and loose dogs in the distance. Usually dogs don't come when called because there is a lack of engagement from the owner and they dog doesn't know what you expect from them. Using a proper leash can help your dog train the recall command quickly but I also like to add in treats as well. If your pit bull comes when called then you want to reward that behavior right away so they get the feel on what you expect from them during training!

Nice!
Kind of 😀. She’s had 3 training sessions, she can leave it, sit, stay and wait. You’re right they’re so smart. Oops my trainer said to only use her name to call her. I never did that with any of my other dogs.

I know. I'm a #junkie lol
What a lovely boy. SUCH a chill temperment, regard for you, and the good looks of a paint horse. So cute. I love spots. Thanks for the great tips. You are doing so much for dogs that get in trouble mostly due to owner's lack if leadership, kindness, and competence. As a pit mommy and 10+ year veteran of the animal welfare world, I thank you.
I appreciate that so much!
Happy to see Beau again ^^ and the VDO is so helpful as usual. 👍👍👍
Beau missed being on camera!

What collar are you using on Bo?
Nice job on the video. How much does Beau weigh?
90 pounds!
I have been far to soft with my pitbull milo. He is 3 in 4months and has very selective hearing only comes when he wants to. He pops footballs and chases motorbikes also loves kids but jumps all over them. I need to start letting him know he isn't the boss.
2 month old puppy trying to train to walk on a leash. I have a slip leash. It sits where it suppose to be. But my dog has mastered the art of rolling over to bite the leash. It's a constant fight back and fourth removing it, and back in his mouth it goes.
How can I get this habit to stop?
Also puppy biting. How do I stop that? Switching with a toy only works for a short time. Eventually he tries biting hands/feet/clothes/shoes again. Other people say pull/walk away and shut down to make it less fun. He bites at that too.
I've tried that "Fooey" product. I think he learn to love the taste.
Any other suggestions?
Any other tips?
