    I grew up with pitbull packs my entire life, it's the only breed of dog I have and will ever have. For me this feels simple to know but to see others don't I'm really happy to see people spreading the knowledge keep up the good work! Pitbulls deserve the love they initially were never bred to have.

    Dealing with separation anxiety now. He's just turned 12months old. He was my wife's dog. He was with her when she breathed her last breath (cancer) Since then he's literally been stuck to me like glue.

    The separation anxiety is off the charts with our pitbull. I want him to enjoy life without me, like, dude. You can definitely play when I leave.

      Definitely adopted mine from Barcs with NO HEADS UP, well not the correct heads up. “No kids or other dogs” was warned twice before pick up date…. Been home for four months and it’s been the complete opposite from the initial warnings” so now I’m free styling. She loves to play very patient with my neighbor Yorkie nibblers and also plays great with the kids in my neighborhood ofc always my supervision. It’s just me and her once we come home so I’ve had nothing but time and opportunity to learn her…. As how I ended up here for the right guidance and knowledge. Definitely thanks Yall🤲🏿 27 female no kids just her, 1yr old is what I was told but I’m just now finding out the discrimination and the age” approx” to get “pitts adopted” it’s way more tan I expected but it’s up and stuck now bout my baby.

      @@grimakastatik we started taking her to obedience classes and it turned out the breeders we got her from lied about her age. She was actually 5 weeks. So the trainers said she was acting out because she never got the discipline from mom and siblings. She is still very aloof and stubborn, but hasn’t been aggressive since.

    I'm the in home caregiver of a lady with a 10 month old pit mix and this dog has attached to me bigtime. I'm normally a cat person so I was shocked by this. The dog only listens to me and not her owner. I'm assuming this is because the owner does nothing with the poor girl. I came to this channel to learn ways to teach this pup to grow up to be the best dog she can be.

      As a first time dog owner I wouldn't recommend a pure pitbull try an American bully and not the xl.. ..
      These are serious dogs as getting a gsp or so forth... Now I have an American bully xl mixed with a blue nose pitbull and she is my third dog. I already have some experience and I've had a huge great dane European blue Marble she was trained to be a guard dog and definitely not for first time owners....

    I have a 2 yr old pitbull. He's. Well trained with me. Grew up around many other dogs and has always been very good with other animals. My girlfriend has a pit mix but she's much smaller. And they wrestle and play all the time. There best friends. But we all moved in together 3 weeks ago and last few weeks he's been showing signs of dominance and guarding his toys and trying to always steal food from the other. Been growling and grabbing the other dog by the throat. Thought maybe he was just assirting himself as alpha. But I don't wanna take the chance that I'm wrong.

    This obviously brings up the question--why do puppies exhibit this behaviors?
    Shepherd puppies will move animals. Pointer pupplies will point. Retriever puppies love fetch to an abnormal degree. Labrador puppies swim. They don't have to be trained for this--it's natural to them, and they literally find this behavior fulfilling.

    • @ursulastclair
      @ursulastclair Год назад +4

      @Mariam Mumeni Hello, I managed to do it on my 100%. I dedicated so much time, she is now 11 months old, 6 months after the post I made. I started with getting up at 4:00 every single morning and walking for an hour and a half. Structure, structure and more structure. Then, an hour minimum of vigorous exercise. When I come home from work I walk her for 30 minutes. She sits, comes, stays, heels, gives a paw when I ask her to shake, she wakes up my son when I say wake up Seth, she lays down, gets back whe I say back and when I say zombie she puts both paws up in the air and rocks back and forth. I might be missing one or two other commands. She was the project of my life I feel; how dominant aggressive she was when I first adopted her to now, plus my first pittbull mix. I would advise anyone just starting out to be CONSISTENT, and then consistent with a bit of consistency and more consistence. I absolutely believe there are no bad dogs only bad training and owners. Thank you for your reply. Good Luck with your new little guy. 🥰

      @Mariam Mumeni Thank you very much, yup I consider her the project of my life. You will get there also, it is just as you said time, time and dedicated patience. Hi! Your vids are Always a treat ❤️! I have a rescued xl Big boy which was very agressive when in his cage but since je lives with me I have ZERO problem. He is just perfect and adorable. Very protective though. No one can touch him except me. I Can live with that since we are on our own. Nonwife, no kids, no friends. The only issue I have is he would hardly stop licking (feet, hands, cushions, etc...) at some points. I Can tell he understands my command when I'm telling him but I can see it's hard for him to stop. It looks to me like a kind of anxiety of some sort. He is full grown (7yrs). Would you have any advice on what triggers such a behaviour? Other than that he is just the most perfect dog I ever had the chance to become friend with. Thank you for all your time and efforts. 👍🙏
