This episode went all minority report on us: destiny/predetermination/fate versus free will/choice, can you summarily judge and harshly punish a person for the terrible heinous crimes that they MIGHT commit in a POSSIBLE future, by a VARIANT version of themselves? gg no re, once again i truly loved this episode, i hate having to wait until next week to see next episode....loved 1893 Chicago World Fair settings/design!!!
Finally paid off the full version of the post-credit scene from Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania!!!
You can perceive how unsure, nervous, uncertain Victor Timely is of himself and the world around him, genius yes but he is also very lonely, afraid of attachment to others...quite the doubting thomas if you will believe....what a performance by Jonathan Majors....clear difference in the delineations between Victor Timely, He Who Remains, Rama-Tut, Scarlet Centurion, Immortus, and of course KANG THE CONQUEROR....all variants of NATHANIEL RICHARDS!!!!
P.S. what's the secret about Ravonna Renslayer does Miss Minutes know? Any theories yet?!!!!

Here's a wild theory, so far off the mark it might as well land two universes away: what if Victor Timely is the Kang from Ant Man 3? Maybe, luckily, he landed in the right time era, killed the real Victor Timely, somehow managed to get the scar off his face(because he has that technology), and is just putting on this nice guy act in order to get back to the TVA. I do think the way he speaks is forced, like he is trying to adopt another persona.

Jonathan Majors is a talented actor. The last scene of him pleading Sylvie not to kill him, was really an emotional moment. I really don't want Kang to be recasted in the MCU. This episode was proof that he was born to play Kang. Best episode of the show so far, excited for more!

Obi is AI. But he gave Obi a body. Which is why Ms Minutes brought it up in the first place. Obi never sleeps and performs specific tasks, which is basically keeping the TVA running. He who remains created Obi and Miss minutes for specific roles. But he also ensured that neither could work to overthrow him. He gave miss minutes the abilities to evolve, which is why he never gave it a body because it would basically be Ultron. He gave Obi a body because of the role it played but he never gave it the ability to evolve like Miss Minutes.

Victor is he who remains as a kid. Let me explain. The kid was on the main timeline when he got the book. The only other kang that was on the main timeline was he who remains the other kangs are cut off from the main timeline so the only version he could give the book to on the main timeline is a younger him. Once the young kid got the book it created a branch timeline. Thats why when they went to the world fair it said branch timeline but when the boy got the book in said main timeline. He who remains knew they was going to need his temporary orale to save the TVA once his death. So he gave the TVA some Help by created A variant to help.

@@MyDeerocnah none of it makes sense. Nathaniel Richards is NOT from the past so there has to be a plot twist, however, HWR is not a Kang variant in the comics so maybe they're doing something different just for him even tho he told Loki his background story which was only identical to the comics. My guess is that the reason why a new branch was created is because this specific variant is taking a different role so it created an alternate reality but I don't think so. I believe it's Kang that's manipulating reality. He's the original creator of the tva and not HWR hence the Kang statue in the past

I believe it’s possible that not all of Kang’s variants are bad. Victor Timely clearly displayed a level of humanity throughout the episode. He definitely doesn’t have the sense of knowledge, confidence and power like He who remains and the other Kang from Ant man 3 that do. It was really cool and satisfying for me to see the full scene in this episode that was used for the 2nd post credit scene in ant man 3!! Man the cast of this show is off the charts phenomenal!! I’m very interested and excited to see Victor Timely in the TVA! I did not expect to see Miss minutes go full on psycho and crazy on Victor Timely!! I was getting some Agents of shield vibes and age of Ultron vibes when she mentioned her wanting a body. Thank god He who remains didn’t make a body for her!! With her abilities she would’ve been a menace to the multiverse!!

I think Miss Minutes is the big bad of this season. And simply because of her feelings for Kang. I think she'd rather destroy the TVA if she can't have him than to find his replacement and not have his love. I also think that He Who Remains, Miss Minutes, OB and Ravonna ate the 4 "time keepers" and I think Miss Minutes is the reason Ravonna was memory wiped and treated like a tva agent. OB was just made to believe that he's purpose is to maintain the inner workers of the TVA as he has done for eons now.

He who remains knows everything in the multiverse. He sent them to deliver the tva book to Timely because he knew the loom would break and Timely would know how to rebuild it. He has probably done all the scenarios and figured the best way to return would be to ensure the loom is fixed so he can be born. OR HWR had this variant placed here and had his mind erased.

Negative. Timely is not a variant!!!! It's just a disguise. That's why it's so interesting because if u know who timely is from the comics u can already see where this is going. Nathaniel Richards (Kang-Prime) is from the 31st-century. We have to ask: how did a CHILD variant of Nathaniel Richards get planted in the Sacred Timeline, 1860s? He Who Remains had to put him there.
Does He Who Remains want to restart from an innocent place? Not all Nathaniel Richards' variants are KANG-VARIANTS. You can kind of lump all his variants into two groups:
    1) variants of Nathaniel Richards AFTER he discovers the Time Platform = Kang Variants.
    2) variants of Nathaniel Richards BEFORE he discovers the Time Platform (i.e., before he became or sought to become Kang). An example of this in the comics would be Iron Lad.

I have this weird idea that each time the multiverse starts up again the TVA jumps technologically. It could explain the difference in tech for the "old" TVA and the memory and décor wipe. Perhaps its just one in many loops of technological advancement, using the time loom as a scalable yet infinite power source. Timely's machine seems to be the original prototype for it. The new secret weapon could be an even better version of the power core Kang got sucked into, expanded on by the "more" advanced tech of the current TVA (over Kangs previous TVA tech core)
I dont even know if that makes sense

You didn’t get the scene with the man who was outbid. Victor Timely put money in the hat bc that man was part of the con by timely to raise the price of the bidding. Timely is a smart con-man. He didn’t feel sorry for that guy 😂 he paid the guy for his part.
Also Timely is not a nice guy because he literally distanced himself from Ranslayer after she said partnership. He doesn’t want partners. He has a plan to control time/multiverse alone. He is not a good man.

By that logic, all variants are bad because they lie to get what they want and they don’t trust anyone.
You don’t just trust people just because they show up with a smile. This is MCU Timely not comic book Timely.

You missed one thing. Time is like water. It passes through a person much like a river passes through a metal ring. Time corrodes and ages people like the river corrodes and ages the metal ring. He who remains simply stayed at a place where time never got to him. Thus not aging him at all. The concept of Kang, according to the MCU, is that one consciousness of Kang is spread throughout the timeline, untill that Kang reaches to a point in their timeline where technology is advanced enough to create the TVA and especially the Loom. There are many such timelines woven by the loom. Anywhere there was a nexus event, the TVA pruned it before it spawn a whole new world, i.e., crossed the threshold. Once that is crossed, actual lives are at stake. So all of the Kangs are a version across one timeline introduced by "He who remains". Now that the branches have spawned out. The other versions od Kang with similar tech will emerge, like the post credits scene in Quantumania. They are together now, but soon won't be. And we will then find "He who remains" again.

  • @PewPew702
    @PewPew702 Год назад +1

The whole consciousness transfer is too big of an idea for them to bring in right now.
A variant isn’t necessarily a problem just bc they exist. for example Loki only got pulled by the TVA once he used the Teseract in EndGame not when he was born. Same with Sylvie.
Think about the TVAs purpose, prune
branch timelines (unknowingly) to prevent other kangs from appearing. This variant doesn’t cause a branch timeline simply by existing but only after the TVA handbook is given to him. He very well could have possibly existed and been no problem.
Part of the reason the sacred timeline is sacred is bc a variant exists that is too early in time (limited tech) and is a perfect variant to replicate yourself with. Creating a permanent loop transferring knowledge through time in order to prepare him for the role.
What I see being the problem is this loop is largely supported by OB as the constant. If this were to change his loop would fall apart.

I don’t think OB Is bad necessarily but maybe a means to an end for the bigger picture. Victor Timely I’m not sure If he’s good or not but the point Is 31st century ain’t 1893 so of course this Is a variant branched from the sacred timeline of course so this can only lead to chaos. Would love to see Kang from Antman

I think he who remains not created the tva. Because when he explain about his story he says his variant live on earth in 31'st century. So he have advance technology so he can build tva easily. After that probably he who remains take control the TVA and killed all his variants and maintain as a scared timeline. In loki season 2 victor timely exist in 1800's. So he doesn't have advance technology so he cannot build the TVA. So probably the victor timely is he who remains in future.

Kang could have used OB to create the TVA, then wiped his mind to be just the "repair guy." OB seemed genuinely confused that he needed someone else's temporal aura to fix the loom.

  • @FramedFiguresphotography
    @FramedFiguresphotography Год назад

He didn’t feel sorry for the guy, the guy was his partner in the con to raise the bidding. When Loki calls him a confidence trickster, it only makes it more clear. He who remains could be Victor. He Who Remains said it was one of his variants in the 31st century, not him. That sounds sort of similar to victor not being able to exactly create the things from the book because the technology of the time isn’t advanced enough yet. I think giving the guidebook to victor as a child could be a plan to set himself in a different direction. He’s had eons to think about how differently he would do things and work out this plan to better himself in this next version.

I believe that season 2 is a Grandfather Clock Paradox where Ouroborus created the Renslayer (Terminatrix) effect and Kang created Miss. Minutes.
The temporal loom is jammed not only because Ouroborus has been stuck there in the T.V.A. without confirmation of creating the guidebook... but also because Miss Minutes seeks to be a singularity as do the variants Renslayer (Terminatrix) and Mobius.
Mobius (McDonald's) Jack theory would be kind of cool to create extra continuity to the branched timeline visits.

I agree with everything you just said but I have one question, didn't He Who Remains said not every version of himself was so pure of heart and Clearly victor timely is still a variant of kang so he could be bad but I could be wrong and I probably am wrong because Victor Timely did seem very kind and innocent. But will see

the scene where they were bidding for his machine. The only reason Victor gave the guy some money and put it under his hat, was because he wanted a higher price or get more money for the machine. so, he told that guy to bid higher than others to increase the price, in return, victor was giving him some money. Which is used more often in the real world. He created demand thus the supply would increase in value. That's why the price went from $500 to $1,000.

What if he who remains is just a front because the kang variant you hear on the recording in the war room talks totally different than victor timely and he who remains + in the ending of season 1 he who remains said he was being candid like someone didn’t want him to know what was going to happen we know that everyone in the tva had their memory wiped but that alone is not enough to make them believe that they were made by the time keepers to serve a purpose maybe he who remains got his mind wiped and was made to believe that he’s the guy that created the tva so i actually think that he who remains and victor timely are the same person but are like a puppet for the kang behind the screens
