@@russrichardson991 exactly. i could see clearly how Victor will overcome his stuttering and become He Who Remains. His "overacting" on stage to cover up his stuttering becomes his actual self, who really thinks of himself as a god.
Miss Minutes got really scary this episode. Also either HWR's is going to build another one of her to replace her or like the workers of the TVA simply do a memory wipe of her.
What if Ravonna ‘is’ Miss Minutes. One of the last things Ravonna said was “for eons,” like Miss Minutes was there for eons standing by HWR. Only dirt she knows about Ravonna is because she was her(?) Sounds super convoluted for a grad student who is about take their exam in less than 1 hour… But never read the comics, just pure speculation~
I hope they keep him 🙏 they talked about letting him go because of legal troubles and it was stopping him from making it to filming. I hope he can stay in marval
The relationship between Kang and Miss Minuts took an unexpected turn. I expected their relationship to be that of a father and daughter type. But I didn't expect her to be madly in love with him.
Well she was with him for EONS literally by his side admiring him. As well her having free will and is technically a female. Everything seems normal as she couldn’t push herself on the old HWR but she could convince his young self to do what he wouldn’t originally
I knew that manual was going to come into play. I’ve commented on past videos that it was getting written in the past and getting updated in real time.
The "this is wild" line makes sense now bc HWR is remembering them from this episode. I always wondered why he was so "star-struck" with Sylvie and loki
And he even know how sylvie likes her coffee "with two of sugar, right?" Maybe in this season they might have this conversation and sylvie herself ends telling him this, making more clear the endless cycle.
Victor is not HWR. He's just a varient. They're not the same guy. HWR is from the 32nd century and hasn't been born yet. Soooo many people keep missing this.
Damnnnnn this episode was incredible and I am so glad we are only at the halfway point. Imagine how far they still have to go considering it’s close to another 2.5 hours. Longer than any movie we would get! Soooooo excited!!! Great video screencrush team!
Yeah but the problem with Disney is that they are money hungry assholes. There’s is a big chance that ep 4 and 5 are going to be inderct fillers, and then make some small reveal in the last episode with also mcu main story repurcussions and a post credit cliffhanger for the next product…. It’s like a time loop They ve done so many times
Victor touched Sylvie's heart because she was about to do to him what was done to her as a child who did nothing wrong yet and she couldn't go through with it.
Or he being a con artist took advantage of Sylvie, remember he heard their convo in the Ferris Wheel … I feel like he is just playing everyone and buying his time to ultimately become HWR.
@@russrichardson991 which is the same theme that Moon Knight dealt with between Ammit and Khonshu. Ammit punished those who could POTENTIALLY do wrong in life
There is an interesting detail in the lab scene that caught my attention: the presence of a plasma ball on the table near the board. interesting part is that the first plasma ball was created in 1894
Another great episode. I think the big reveal from Miss Minutes that will cheese off Ravona is that Ravona is actually a He Who Remains variant. She’d have the correct aura to keep things running while HWR pulls the strings through Miss Minutes outside time. Also explains why everything in the TVA went to crap after Ravona left. And if Loki and Silvie have taught us anything, it’s that people really do love themselves, so Ravona can’t help but fall for HWR variants.
When victor said “I am not the man you think I am” he had tears running down his face, two tears mimicking the scars of most kangs, showing this varent’s fate
I absolutely loved this episode!! Miss minutes being in love with kang? Makes a lot of sense! Although it was still a twist lmao, she got a little terrifying there for a second, She’s such an interesting character. I also loved Jonathan Major’s acting in this episode, I’m soo waiting to discover more about this variant, who knows maybe he’s a good one?
No such thing a good kang no matter what billions of universes will be destroyed because of every variant having same goal to be the last one standing.
I think that Kang displaced a younger variant of himself from the 31st century into the 1800s. A version of himself that was pure of heart before he could grow to become the angry and bitter man he was destined to be. He did this to always have that time loop. Also, what Miss minutes is going to reveal to Ravonna Is that Kang manipulated and used her to get to the top by making her fall in love and then betraying her by wiping her memory, of who she was and sending her to work for him in the TVA.
Right. If this IS HWR, he would have remembered this moment and how crazy she is and knew it would be a bad idea. And he ends up deleting most of her at the end to start the cycle again, building her up code to become miss minutes again
Wild idea, What if Sylvie DIDN'T cause a Nexus event. Ravonna States she "didn't remember" Sylvies Nexus event, but what if she Never knew it, she just responded to a Nexus event Sylvie was the only one at the Location so she must have been the Variant, when really He Who Remains sent a false signal to Ensure Sylvie would hunt him down

All critics got the first 4 episodes weeks ago, before the first episode even aired. They all did their first 4 breakdown videos well in advance, and then drop them right after the episode finishes. Mark my words: their breakdowns for eps 5 & 6 will take several hours after the episodes finish.
@@SAPANNow oh that makes so much more sense, I was thinking that there’s no way they managed to throw together a script in 30 minutes and then upload/process it.
True. I was thinking that he's the only variant of Kang that is altruistic enough to rule. What if it at all the end of this he's the good guy and tells Slyvie that he has to take her in as a child to set everything in motion for her to show him the way of being the better version of himself. The only way to beat Kang is with an altruistic variant of himself. Maybe that's who HWR is?
I like your theory because it connects with the subtext of Loki series as a whole, since Loki has been fighting to be a better version of himself, in the face of all the predestination crap that Moebius told him. So it makes sense that there could be a variant of Kang, maybe the very original one, that is not bonded by his own ambitions

When Miss Minutes scoffed for the first time I went back and rewatched that scene immediately and was like "oh she salty!" By the time she came out with her feelings she had already done so much to tell her hand.
Oh for sure, I kept my focus on Ms. M during the entire conversation. It was all over her “face” for a split “second,” that gave it away that she was in love with him. (See what I did there 😂)?
The way they are slowly intertwining everything is amazing!! I believe timely is he who remains and the more we get closer to the end we are realizing the true beginning and the loop will finally be completed at the seasons end!!!!
I think Victor Timely is He Who Remains, but I'm not convinced he is Kang the Conqueror. Rather, he's a variant of Kang from the branched timeline seen in this episode. I think the Sacred Timeline is needed to create Kang, so Kang can defeat the council, win the multiversal war, and create the TVA. Then, He Who Remains just needs to defeat one Kang variant using his knowledge of the TVA that Ravonna gave him in this episode which branched the timeline.
So, Victor Timely is "our" Kang variant?. I mean, he is the Variant "native" to the 616 universe, right?. I don't know if being from our 616 universe makes him the "original". I thought the original was Nathaniel Richards.
Victor Timely seems more like an ancestor of Nathaniel Richards/Kang than a variant. As he admitted the technology doesn't exist in 1893 for him to become Kang.
No. Victor is Kang not a variant. Kang was always losing to the avengers so he back in time with a new identity as victor timely. He definitely Kang but before he becomes He who remains
@@AntonioDragon88in the comics he is kang yes, but you know the mcu, they don't always 100% adapt the comics ... timely can be someone else or whatever
What if Miss Minutes is Ravonna Renslayer? Like after they win the multiversal war, she gets mortally wounded and He Who Remains puts her essence into pre Miss Minutes AI.
This is sort of getting me excited again in the MCU. For so long it has felt like they've released shows and movies that have nothing to do with a larger plot and only create plot holes for each movie. That or the story has been really poorly told and never had me all that invested in what comes next. Keeping my expectations low but this episode was good
Adored this episode one of the strongest entries in the MCU show catalog to me Visually beautiful, great exploration of the dynamics of all characters involved intense amount of time getting to know timely great performance, and the cliffhanger cant wait for next week.
Very interesting yet subtle study this episode of sylvie who desperately want free will having so much a hard time giving he who remain's variants the chance to make their own choices ,and write their own destiny We'll see how this all play out this question of free will verse destiny.
What if the MCU wrote Renslayer as variant of Kang. Just like Sylvie and Loki are coexisting, RR could be a variant of HWR, probably a stretch. Also, this episode was centered a lot on the distinction between order and chaos. RR declared herself has order, and the scene cuts to Sylvie as chaos. The same way as Loki could represent order and Kang chaos.
I think that the secret turns out to be that the Kang who Loki heard in the recording is speaking to the rivonna that we see now, I think he promised her a seat at the end of time and then wiped her memory.
I must say I did get a bit emotional when Sylvie spared Victor's life. Like I could tell it took so much of her not to immediately kill the man who would ruin her whole life.
This show is kind of reminding me of a show called Dark on Netflix. The characters live in a constant loop where the villain of the show is actually the show's main character years in the future, orchestrating events to make sure he is born.... I think this show will play out in a similar way
I think Loki pulling a Tony Stark in one way or another, sacrificing himself or this version of himself, in order to end the ouroboros and truly defeat Kang, would be fitting (and is likely where the multiverse saga is headed).
I can definitely agree with that I went from not caring much about Loki to him being my favorite but is it just me or is Sylvie annoying everyone else too? Amazing how she takes no accountability for things being the way they are but it's typical woman behavior which is why she wouldn't listen to reason and pushed Loki through the time door smh women operate on strictly emotion and don't care about consequences as long as they want my question is when will Loki tell her to get over herself.
I never thought I'd say this again about a Marvel TV show, but this episode was a masterpiece. I am SO relieved that Loki is redeeming the recent Marvel installments. I got really scared after Secret Invasion in particular.
I think the secret about Ravonna is a going to parallel her relationship with Kang in the comics. She was a teacher in Season one, but we don’t know much else about her. Perhaps she had a happy life with a family, and because of Kang’s feelings/obsession for her (as noted in the comics), his jealousy would not permit her to live her life. He wanted her to himself. So he kept pruning her out of timelines each time she became a Variant, wiping her mind in the TVA (and keeping her information out of files so she doesn’t know), and almost kept her prisoner to keep her close to him by making her work in the TVA.
9:02 The third emblem shield from the left is the Korean kingdom of Yi dynasty Joseon! The kingdom did have an exhibition at this fair, which was a year before the first Sino-Japanese War, and 27 years before the Japanese empire annexed the Korean peninsula. Fun little history fact that tracks for consistency in design!
I think when Miss Minutes says if he made a body for her they could rule together, and he says, "I can't do that.", he means rule together, not that he can't make her a body.
Wow! Great review! I believe you are correct. Loki is the god of chaos and free will and will make a choice that no one will see coming. The writing for this series is amazing.
A lot of people thinking Ravonna is a HWR variant. She's not, she's the inspiration for Miss Minutes. Miss Minutes wants a body, what she doesn't realize is that she's the replacement for the body after Kang wiped Ravonna's mind and set up the TVA that we saw in season 1
Really enjoying Loki.. The music from this episode was fantastic.. It would be great if they actually printed a TVA Guidebook for us.. I buy one in a second... thanks for the breakdowns..
20:18 those circular patterns are a similar pattern that’s on the tires of the vehicle that breaks into the HEX and Monica’s pendant in WandaVision ep 2
Ms. Minutes Ravonna secret is that he had her help him win a multiverse war, promised in that snippit of recording Loki heard that she'd be by his side, then WIPED HER MEMORY AND PLOPPED HER IN A THANKLESS JOB RUNNING HIS TVA FOR EONS. Like, dude, what an asshole move.
This episode is the essence of a loki show. Tinge of horror, suspense, great story, excellent acting, and ending in the citadel at the end of time is just icing on the cake. Also, i think Timely is just playing a part. I can't help but feel like the stutter, the shyness, it's all being faked. His face reveal was really confident. And all of a sudden, he's a shy, socially inept stammerer. I think he is playing an unassuming part. Cuz there are instances where the camera cuts to his face and you can see that there's something sinister about this guy. At least thats how he came across to me
The way in which to break the cycle is for Loki, and possibly Sylvie as well, to take He Who Remains' place in the citadel at the end of time. Or it could even be Revonna. Then there will be no need to deliver the TVA manual to young Victor. As a result, no Kang will be created.
As much as this season is getting better and better, So is your explanation. I loved what you did in this vdo, going all the way and then coming back for your theory afterwards. Great job. I wish I could have a ranting session with you in person about all these theories and easter eggs. My friends who were into Marvel movies and shows, all slowly backed out because according them, "things were getting complicated". Well, where's the fun if the show doesn’t leave you a little bedazzled, right ? Hwvr, lots of love. Love your work
I really do love this story and I agree with a lot of what you theorized but I do think the cycle will be broken since lately there has been rumor that the Kang dynasty films will end everything and make things start fresh allowing for new actors, etc - basically a reboot.
Dude. The Miss Minutes scene with Timely was sooo uncomfortable and I'm totally here for it. Something about AI going rogue makes my skin crawl. Love it.
A small detail I think you missed was in his lab when Renslayer pulled the phaser on him, she had told him on the boat she was Ms. Ravonna, but then Timely calls her Renslayer?
8:55 I think this Victor Timely IS He Who Remains, but in the sacred timeline he gets involved later in life with his time travel involvement. So then after Victor Timely aka Kang The Conquer wins the Multiverse war with Aloth help.
That joint was wild!!! I think Ravonna and Ms Minutes may have actually started the the MVW...IDK...Ms. Minute is super jealous of Ravonna so she kinda suspect
It makes me so happy to think about your theory for Kangs dynasty, because that would mean we get more Loki and Loki (and Mobius) is almost the only reason I still watch Marvel...
I think Ravonna is a Kang variant like Sylvie is a female Loki. I also think that you're right about Kang being Timely, I think that he eventually finds Alioth and that's how this arc concludes.
Came here to say this! Hits true when you compare Ravonna's rant about how only thanks to her everything (the TVA) was held together... sounded a lot like H.W.R.'s own rant last season. Also, the love interest thing still works; look at the Loki/Sylvie thing
I think the Baldr reference is interesting too as in Norse Mythology he returns from the underworld after Ragnarok, which also fits with your theory at the end!
The Balder referance is a clue that the time line has been changed in some way in the past long before 1863 . But the branch timeline was created in 1863. So how is that possible ?

@@russrichardson991 exactly. i could see clearly how Victor will overcome his stuttering and become He Who Remains. His "overacting" on stage to cover up his stuttering becomes his actual self, who really thinks of himself as a god.
Miss Minutes got really scary this episode. Also either HWR's is going to build another one of her to replace her or like the workers of the TVA simply do a memory wipe of her.
Right I'm like oh s**t this might get dark af lol don't brake an AIs heart 😂
Especially when she put her face on that manikin that freaked me out. 😬😱
I think ms.mins has become Cynthia and has an agenda of her own
Miss Minutes has always been a little creepy to me but in this episode, she took it to a whole 'nother level.
What if Ravonna ‘is’ Miss Minutes.
One of the last things Ravonna said was “for eons,” like Miss Minutes was there for eons standing by HWR.
Only dirt she knows about Ravonna is because she was her(?)
Sounds super convoluted for a grad student who is about take their exam in less than 1 hour…
But never read the comics, just pure speculation~
This episode gave me more insight on how Loki and Sylvie think. I loved it.
I actually teared up when Victor begged for Sylvie to spare his life. Jonathan Majors is a great actor.
I hope they keep him 🙏 they talked about letting him go because of legal troubles and it was stopping him from making it to filming. I hope he can stay in marval
not a good human being though
@@ravenologiesno way you believe that, it’s fake he didn’t do anything wrong just accused
Exactly, amazing scene that make us believe and doubt him at the same time
Great scene, you know he’s a con artist, and used only a few words, but made you want to spare him
13:15 Loki was looking scared when thor's thunder crackled near the beginning of avengers 1 on the plane
The relationship between Kang and Miss Minuts took an unexpected turn. I expected their relationship to be that of a father and daughter type. But I didn't expect her to be madly in love with him.
no frr I wasn't expecting that lmao
Yeah, I agree with you. Miss Minutes went "Eve's Bayou" on Victor/HWR/Kang. Very creepy!
Well she was with him for EONS literally by his side admiring him. As well her having free will and is technically a female. Everything seems normal as she couldn’t push herself on the old HWR but she could convince his young self to do what he wouldn’t originally
The secret is that he made a million variations of Reyvona where every single one of them dies because he couldn’t handle losing her in comics
Yeah I'm interested to see if she actually becomes human like she wants.
@saahir18 we don't know that yet, they're not following the comic story too accurately
It’s like a time loop
They ve done so many times
Victor touched Sylvie's heart because she was about to do to him what was done to her as a child who did nothing wrong yet and she couldn't go through with it.
100%. Being undone before committing a hypothetical crime
Ammit punished those who could POTENTIALLY do wrong in life
@@bipolarbear99 So true!
@@RafaelRodriguez-nb8in Good point.
I think she will be a variant too
That makes sense, as to why HWR knew a male and female variant of Loki would work to run things later.
Love this idea
Haven't considered that but could be. I still think they may connect her to the Rama Tut stuff.
Ok ...now i want this~
When victor said “I am not the man you think I am” he had tears running down his face, two tears mimicking the scars of most kangs, showing this varent’s fate
I was glad to see Tara Strong featured in the credits
It's not the first time she was credited
I think that Kang displaced a younger variant of himself from the 31st century into the 1800s. A version of himself that was pure of heart before he could grow to become the angry and bitter man he was destined to be. He did this to always have that time loop. Also, what Miss minutes is going to reveal to Ravonna Is that Kang manipulated and used her to get to the top by making her fall in love and then betraying her by wiping her memory, of who she was and sending her to work for him in the TVA.
Miss Minutes pretty much answered her own question on why she was never given a body. Kang would create Miss Minutes knowing she has a thing for him
It all circles back to his trust issue and the definition of free will
Right. If this IS HWR, he would have remembered this moment and how crazy she is and knew it would be a bad idea. And he ends up deleting most of her at the end to start the cycle again, building her up code to become miss minutes again
Wild idea, What if Sylvie DIDN'T cause a Nexus event.
Ravonna States she "didn't remember" Sylvies Nexus event, but what if she Never knew it, she just responded to a Nexus event Sylvie was the only one at the Location so she must have been the Variant, when really He Who Remains sent a false signal to Ensure Sylvie would hunt him down
Sylvie wanted to be a hero, she was playing hero in ragnorok

@@SAPANNow oh that makes so much more sense, I was thinking that there’s no way they managed to throw together a script in 30 minutes and then upload/process it.
If loki can change, i think victor timely can also change. He can be their ally to fight other kangs
Remember tho, at the end of the day, he is a con artist … and will say whatever to save his behind. Sylvie just fell for it.
Thinking of Timely changing and helping Loki makes me feel like he’s definitely going to die 😅
He's a little sketchy, and self-absorbed.

Recap by Tammy AI
When Miss Minutes scoffed for the first time I went back and rewatched that scene immediately and was like "oh she salty!" By the time she came out with her feelings she had already done so much to tell her hand.
Oh for sure, I kept my focus on Ms. M during the entire conversation. It was all over her “face” for a split “second,” that gave it away that she was in love with him. (See what I did there 😂)?
@@SSGTStrykerlol good one
Miss Minutes flirting with Victor came outta nowhere lol.
Jonathan Majors once again with an acting masterclass.
Ouroboros loop, nice!
The way they are slowly intertwining everything is amazing!! I believe timely is he who remains and the more we get closer to the end we are realizing the true beginning and the loop will finally be completed at the seasons end!!!!
What did you think of the episode?
It was awesome. I’m loving this series. Loki is my fav tho, so I might be biased 😅
The episode and show are far surpassing my expectations, so great!
I loved it man, couldn’t wait for your video as well!!
Definitely the best marvel has to offer for the last few projects that haven’t been lead by someone who left marvel.
Another awesome episode loki is top tier.
Bro miss minutes is so terrifying in this episode. I think miss minutes is a memory of renslayer
And that’s why he doesn’t know what the tva is because he hasn’t made it yet
@@AntonioDragon88in the comics he is kang yes, but you know the mcu, they don't always 100% adapt the comics ... timely can be someone else or whatever
Your enthusiasm during the breakdown videos is utterly exhilarating
i appriciate Jonathan Majors acting. His way can me you fell like different kang are being played by different actors
Keeping my expectations low but this episode was good
Thanks!
Welcome!
Adored this episode one of the strongest entries in the MCU show catalog to me
Visually beautiful, great exploration of the dynamics of all characters involved intense amount of time getting to know timely great performance, and the cliffhanger cant wait for next week.
Loki should be the new standard for mcu shows. Its so good. Your enthusiasm during the breakdown videos is utterly exhilarating.
Very interesting yet subtle study this episode of sylvie who desperately want free will having so much a hard time giving he who remain's variants the chance to make their own choices ,and write their own destiny
We'll see how this all play out this question of free will verse destiny.
Shoutout to the editor for including that clip of Cabin in the Woods 🤣💀 30:49
What if the MCU wrote Renslayer as variant of Kang. Just like Sylvie and Loki are coexisting, RR could be a variant of HWR, probably a stretch.
Also, this episode was centered a lot on the distinction between order and chaos. RR declared herself has order, and the scene cuts to Sylvie as chaos. The same way as Loki could represent order and Kang chaos.
I think Kang is order and Loki is chaos
This breakdown is crazy. Kudos to you guys for putting this together. Insane depth and thoughts that aren’t far fetched. 👏🏼
Miss Minutes knows about Renslayer having been wiped like the others or something to do with He Who Remains
Hardcore agree with you. I hope he's the new Tony of these phases. He's pretty much my new favorite character now.
Loki def needs to be the Tony now! Imagine how happy Thor would be 😂
Man I hope you're right. I hope he's one of the main characters in Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars. His character deserves it.
Each episode gets better each week. Sad there’s only 6 I need more.
I loved this episode, exactly what I'd expect from a time travelling TV Show. Bring on Episode 4.
I never thought I'd say this again about a Marvel TV show, but this episode was a masterpiece. I am SO relieved that Loki is redeeming the recent Marvel installments. I got really scared after Secret Invasion in particular.
Thor isn’t that tall 😂
Yeah that made me laugh too.
@@AllyGirl-hg2sbit’s funny because Tom Hiddelston is actually really tall in real life
SO DEEP. I love how you're getting into the predictions. Loki is standout, and you are a brilliant sleuth.
Maybe an Easteregg - one Thing in the TVA Handbook, looked like a Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver... 🤔
Johnathan Majors steals the show every time he appears
I love that @15:00 science fiction bit was direct call back to Thor 1 Jane Foster saying almost the very words to Selvig
Great breakdown as always ryan perfect timing 😂👍🏽.
This man got it right the whole time.
At least thats how he came across to me
So what is Miss Minutes is actually the "final" Renslayer varient like how He-Who-Remains is the "final" Kang
The way in which to break the cycle is for Loki, and possibly Sylvie as well, to take He Who Remains' place in the citadel at the end of time. Or it could even be Revonna. Then there will be no need to deliver the TVA manual to young Victor. As a result, no Kang will be created.
As much as this season is getting better and better,
So is your explanation.
I believe she introduces herself as Renslayer back on stage
FINALLY I WAS HOOKED IN COMPLETELY. FINALLY DISNEY GAVE ME SOMETHING WHAT IS GOOD
How do you reconcile Timely and He Who Remains having no facial scars and Kang having facial scars if they are all the same person and not variants?
Miss Minutes be wildin'
This might be the best breakdown/prediction video I have ever listened to
I think Ravonna is a Kang variant like Sylvie is a female Loki.
Idk why but, when Doug said "cause he is a husky man" @15:45

It’s Sylvies fault

@@deelewis8061yes.... I think she's starting to realize that, begrudgingly. She's gonna have a great character arc.
@@graydenday3760yeah. She spared Victor Timely.
How are they supposed to wrap ALL OF THIS up in three more episodes?! 🤔
ob is slowly becoming one of my favorite time travelers🔥🔥
I think this season exists purely for Loki to divert from his destiny by ensuring that the loop, both his and the multiverse's, is broken.
I can’t believe people say stuff hasn’t been connecting lately. They obviously aren’t paying attention cuz things aren’t being spoon fed to them.
Miss Minutes would make a great Cuphead villain.
exactly thats what my sister said
