THIS REMINDS ME OF A GUY I KNEW IN 9TH GRADE WHO DIED OF INHALING NITROUS OXIDE. In 1991, I was in 9th Grade. One morning in May, the Principal came on the P.A. system and announced the sad news. The boy was named Shawn. His father was a dentist. He got the gas from his father's dental office, and took it home. He then placed a lampshade into a plastic trash bag, attached a thin hose to the canister, inserted the other end into the bag, lightly closed the bag around her neck, then turned on the gas. His parents returned home from work and found him dead. Bag still over his head. ( the lampshade inside used to make a space for his head.). Investigators concluded he must have attempted to get high. No notes indicating suicide, and no reason to suspect foul play. A few days later, there was a funeral at a Catholic Church, and he was buried at a local cemetery. Coincidentally, I stopped by to visit his grave today.

We always enjoyed ourselves and Mom and Dad enjoyed us and they joined us often because we insisted.

What people don’t know about NOS is at anytime you can die from Sudden Cardiac Death. It could be the first time you do or the 100th. You just never know.
Why is the fraternity not listed, despite being off campus? Parents need to know this if the child wants to join a fraternity/sorority. Was the off-campus fraternity not approved by the college? Too many questions yet to answer.
Super sad to see the mom in such pain..hate how they go to smoke shop to make them look bad when you can buy whip it cans at just about any grocery store.i hope the best wishes for the parents.then I hope the other kids dont get mad time but come forward on that night and take the out come like men.
Very sad. Unfortunately nitros oxide is very easy to get. I used it when I was in labor last year (given time me by doctors) definitely going to research more before agreeing to use it again with the next one.
