halo on legendary is something else for marathon runs lol, it's always so exiting. Like so much can go wrong at so many points and then it's up to the runner to adapt to bad & unexpected situations. I'm 6 minutes into this run and it's already a clusterfuck
@@trendkill3333there are always a few but halo is very consistent. I think TomatoAnus's FOA run has great vibes and commentary, amd from immediate memory, anything involving covert muffin, blood thunder, bryonato, amd chronos along with others I'm sore I just missed will always have solid vibes.

I've never been a huge fan of speedruns but I love watching these GDQ runs. I love watching talented runners demonstrate incredible skill but in this more laid back setting where they still can sacrifice some time and focus to talk about the game and their speedrunning tricks and even goof off a little.
While the "auto-scroll" sections don't allow for time saves, they at least make for an interesting display of combat skill. I might have to pick up Halo 3 speedrunning, its easily one of my favorite games of all time.
Its really interesting when you said about the covenant being one of the most iconic halo levels. When I think about them, Covenant wouldn't even come to mind. What does is all the missions from halo 1 AOTCR, TSC (as it was with the demo), Halo, library and maybe The Maw. Halo 2 doesn't even compute (maybe the arbiter first level, the level after the crashed pelican on earth, maybe gravemind) and halo 3 probably just the opening mission (or the base mission / tsavo highway). Then it would be the last level on reach. But most of them really for me are just from the first game. Weird how that works (for me)

Just got my very own Xbox for the first time since my dad had one when we were kids. And I thought I knew about Halo 😂 this sht would have helped a LOT I’ll admit tho, I’ve completed halo 2 legendary solo flawless which was soul crushing. And I’m close to finishing halo 3 the same.
In college we loved the multiplayer of halo 3, it came out my freshman year, but we really had fun doing the campaign and trying the stupidest shit imaginable. It was so much fun!
800 DPI and 1.2 in game sens :) pretty standard for tac shooters like Valorant. Also forgot to mention that moments lower your sens too. Some people swap dpis on their mouse during moments, but I just go through raw lol

Halo 3 is for sure a platforming fps! It's fun af using that movement in multi-player, some it's insanely hard to do
