Its phenomenal how one man can teach so much content so elegantly and clearly in one no-nonsense video when there are so many others out there who would take 20 videos to cover this and confuse the hell out of you.

I Couldn't agree more. Brian's approach to most things seems to be cut out all the crap and don't spend the first 15 minutes of a video noodling while trying to impress us all with what a great player he is. A rare and talented tutor.

I'm a 52 yr old man who struggled to learn the guitar since I was 14yo, from that time until now I only manage to learn songs I want to play and some bar chords but don't understand any modes and scales and how to apply them to playing. I have watched other guitar tutorials but it left me more confused than before watching them. your circle of fifths short video ended up in my feed and perfectly explained to me everything in 1 minute. I subbed and binged some of your videos and now I understand the scales and modes and I am starting to learn how to solo. little by little I am improving everyday. Thank you so much for this.

I’m trying to learn piano and my tutor has tried to explain and implement them but i still had no clue, I instantly saw the connections in. This video……….genius man 👍✌

I find your channel to have some of the best no-BS tutorials on YT. Why is it that on YT plenty of channels will explain enharmonic keys but I haven't seen a single video say that all notes have enharmonic equivalents, especially: B# = C, B = Cb, E# = F, and E = Fb? When spelling out the major scales in B/Cb, F#/Gb, and C#/Db, just wait until they hear that they're getting 6 scales for the price of 3. Thanks again for your channel.
