Okay these are on my must do list as well! I enjoyed the gingerbread cookies (well, I still have a FEW left) and I'm thinking I'll use that flavor profile to make a cake, so thanks for that recipe! Crystal I really like that you're doing a series - it makes me come back and look every day. So if you have a lot more, you could take a quick break and start another series in January, for St. Valentine's day. Change up the theme every month or two according to holidays, time of year, or family member picks/favorites since you have some cute helpers. I'm glad you had fun making them all and look forward to more! Thanks so much!
Thank you so much that means a lot for the past couple of years I have done an appetizer series for the month of January kind of like for football parties or game day and then in February of course I always do a Valentine’s Day series. I might repost some of the recipes though because I have so many and they are so good. I do love doing series sometimes I miss it when they are done.
My mom used to make ‘chocolate balls’ every year at the holidays. There was no coating on them but she would roll them in sprinkles, coconut, chopped nuts, or colored sugar. I love the idea of making different flavors! I might even try making colored sweetener to sprinkle on the top. Lots of possibilities! Maybe even egg shaped with Easter coming up in a few months.
I make chocolate candies by melting coconut oil adding coco powder & liquid sweetener, vanilla sometimes i add peanut butter) i pour over frozen blueberries, they freeze instantly, ill freeze these & cool my chocolate & get toothpick to dip in chocolate for a few seconds for it to freeze around ball.
You are correct on your pronunciation of allulose. The E at the end makes the vowel O in “lose “ long or say its own name. AL-you-lose( rhymes with most or toast.
WOW!!! I'm going to make some of these truffles with a hazel nut in the middle, and some with an unsalted Teddie Bear Peanut Butter center!!! BTW, I know there are so many brands of Cacao on the market. Have you ever tried Navitas organics unsweetened Cacao? It has only 25 calories per tbsp; it also has 2g of both protein and fiber per tbsp. Thanks for sharing this recipe. I'll take a look at all of your Christmas recipes. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!!
I have used a different thing from them, I think it was their cacao nibs and it had sugar in it, which annoyed me so I don’t think I’ve looked at any of their other products. But maybe I should thank you for letting me know.
What to make your chocolate pop? Add a pinch of espresso powder 🎉👍🎉 UPDATE: Used the recipe for Christmas and it was a HUGE hit. We did the standard batch, a batch with a pinch of espresso powder and a peppermint batch. ALL AMAZING! Thank you for the excellent December series. We did use several of your recipes.
I accidently bought dry curd, compared it, dry curd 1 gr carb to 1 gr fiber=zero carb & only 3 ingredients. My reg. Kind was 6 carbs & way more ingredients. Ill always buy dry curd & just add yogart, sour cream, milk or cream
Girl!!! I made these last night and they are absolutely DELICIOUS!! I added a capful of orange extract - AMAZING. Thank you so much! 2 questions: Was that cheesecloth u used to squeeze the cottage cheese? When did you sprinkle salt on top? I learned quickly I had to do it immediately if I wanted it to stick! 😂 🎅
Yes I used the cheesecloth to squeeze out the liquid of the cottage cheese. My brand is so liquidy. I put it on at the end but realized it was too late also. So now I put it on right after I dunk it.
Lol, it's al (like the name), al-you-lows with an "s" sound at the end, not a "z" sound, but you know what, who gives a crap? Your recipes are good and you're sweet, you don't need a ticket from the pronunciation police! These will be good to combat cravings, cos the holiday parties are coming and that's usually where I lose my mind and fling myself off the wagon. :D.
I’m seeing some flecks inside-is that from the coconut flour or the allulose? I find allulose doesn’t dissolve unless you’re using it in baked goods. I’ve pulverized it in my mini food processor before and that seems to work ok. Also-what brand of melting, chocolate are you using?
I’m not sure if it’s from the coconut flour or the Allulose but you cannot taste it I am using a brand from Costco that has no sugar added They only have it at Christmas time It’s comparable to Lily‘s chocolate chips except better I think
Your truffles looked so good. I tried to make them last nite. The 1/4 cup of cocoa powder was overpowering so I added 2T dry sweetener. Still tasting pretty rough so I added 2 MORE Tablespoons dry sweetener. That tasted better, but very dry. I added 1 T cottage cheese drippings. Still dry and needed flavor. I added cream, a splash, ok a big splash, maybe an ounce. It tastes better now but is more like a mousse. The truffles recipe was awful but will continue experimenting with making it into a mousse as a way to try to save the investment. To be continued.
@ Yes, 1 teaspoon, also 1 teaspoon coconut oil. I wonder if your recipe was sposed to use less cocoa powder, a quarter cup is a lotta cocoa powder and the flavor was overpowering. I see you used a lot less in the recent cottage cheese mousse recipe.
Some baking cocoa’s taste different than others. What brand were you using? I would maybe only do 2 tablespoons of baking cocoa, and then try to substitute more of coconut flour
@ oh right, it is Ambrosia Unsweetened Cocoa I guess that’s the difference. Thanks for responding so quickly. If you have ideas how I can finish off making this into a mousse, I’d love to hear it. I looked at your cottage cheese mousse recipe…it’s pretty similar. I hope you have a very happy new year and God bless!
@@ladyhawke9127 I’ve never heard of that brand before but just try and use less like I said and just supplement the rest with extra coconut flour add it slow though so the texture turns out right
I pronounce allulose the way you do.
I also agree that Christmas is coming way too fast!
Merry Christmas!
So do I!
Thank you so much for watching
Oh good, I’m not the only one

@@CrystalsCleanKitchen Oh that's great! I'm a new subscriber with this series; I'll have to go back and look at some from before. Thanks!
Oh, yes! More Keto candy recipes for Valentines Day, please!
Will do!!
You’ve quickly become my favorite keto channel! I’m wondering what deliciousness is sitting on your stovetop. 😄
It is an episode for after Christmas a cottage cheese, egg bake, and it was insanely good

You are right so many possibilities
They look great....... and so easy to make! I think you should extend your Christmas recipes until New Year's Day!!!!
That is a great idea. I think I might have enough episodes recorded already so I just might go longer.
Oh, you could do a Valentine's series like this one, :)
I am totally going to. I have so many recipes on my site that I think I will revamp and do the same sort of thing
Yum that sounds good

That is so nice to hear
Indeed, an awesome Christmas!

Happy Advent! Thank you for these delicious keto recipes!

MERCY! Yuppers, doing these for sure! Thanks girl!

I would, but I’m allergic to coffee
@@CrystalsCleanKitchenthat’s sad. What about coffee flavoring? Does that have any actual coffee?
It could just all be in my head. I just start violently throwing up.
They look so yummy! Thank you for the recipe 💖
They are crazy good
Thank you and God bless you and your family 😊❤
Thank you so much Merry Christmas🎄
@ Merry Christmas and God bless you ❤️🙏
Thanks have saved them all and will start doing these this week..
Oh that makes me so happy.

Yay
Greek yougart🤍🤍🤍Amazing video and recipe 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😋😋😋
Thank you so much
Can you use Greek yogurt in place of the cottage cheese? Thanks.
Yes, you sure can and if it seems too liquidy, add a little coconut flour to it
Can you use almond flour as a sub for coconut flour?
Yes, you can and you actually may not even need it at all. It might be thick enough without any flour
Lol, it's al (like the name), al-you-lows with an "s" sound at the end, not a "z" sound, but you know what, who gives a crap? I know!! It’s so nice to have an alternative that still tastes good
What about putting roughly ground up almonds in the center?
That would be awesome
Thanks for sharing this--do we know what the total carbs are?
No sorry

@ I DO love Costco! One just opened here in Maine about a year ago. Unfortunately it’s almost 2 hours south of me in Portland.
Me too.
Can I substitute a different sweetner I don't think we have allulose here in Canada, at least I have never seen it. Not even on Amazon.
Yes, you can. Any sweetener is fine but if it’s granulated, make sure to powder it in your blender first
@CrystalsCleanKitchen thanks
No problem I love answering comments.
Is it possible to use stevia instead of allulose?
Sure, any type of sweetener will work just fine
@CrystalsCleanKitchen thank you for your fast response! I wanted to make these today. Can't wait to try them 🙂

You say allulose just like you would say fructose or sucrose or lactose
So you’re saying I did it right?
First comment ❤
Thanks babe
