It’s the other way around for me. After cleansing and exfoliating I apply mild non-comedogenic hydrating moisturizer and still my skin is oily and develops acne. So I finally decided to stop moisturizing my skin. Just after few days, I saw a lot of changes on my skin’s sebum production becoming lesser as well as acne development. Gentle hydrating cleanser is enough to keep your skin hydrated. It’s the drying ingredients that actually dries out your skin if you don’t choose the right cleanser.
I agree here.. Right after shower, the first thing to do is to apply moisturizer.
