- This is the first ever video showcasing how to beat Hidden Cave Zone in Sonic 2 SMS Remake with full explanation. This will cause the special ending to appear.
A demo of Sonic 3 SMS: Timelines containing only Turquoise Hill will release at SAGE 2022. It will have 16-bit remixes of the songs by Remixis SG by default which are absolutely phenomenal. The final product will be the most ambitious project by Creative Araya so please look forward to it. The zone order will go as follows:

After Espio sees Super Sonic and Tails take the mighty Master Emerald to a secret place, the chameleon along with his friend Vector, go in search of it.
The new and secret zone, Hidden Cave is a mix of Mystic Cave and Hidden Palace from Sonic 2 Genesis. This zone will be the end of the game, being accessed after Sonic and Tails retrieve the Master Emerald, and only with Espio and Vector.
Hidden Cave Zone is a puzzle place, created by the Master Emerald to protect itself from those, who are not worthy of finding it.
Only in this zone, it will be possible to know the true end of the game, or rather the beginning of a sequence.
Also, thank you Araya for making my request come true as I once asked if the unused song from Sonic 2 SMS will be added as an extra to replace Crystal Egg's music and now it does if you use the 16-bit soundtrack and the song itself to be remade in 16-bit glory was requested by me as it wasn't initially planned by RemixisSG to remake that for this game (as this music was planned for Hidden Palace but was ultimately replaced by Tidal Tempest Past from Sonic CD)

Responding to the description of this video, the 16-bit remixes of Turquoise Hill Zone and Meta Junglira Zone were made to be used in Sonic 3 SMS Timelines.
This is the complete list of the music that will be used in this fangame:
1- Turquoise Hill Zone (Sonic Chaos GG version)
2- Meta Junglira Zone (Sonic Triple Trouble)
3- Sleeping Egg Zone (Sonic Chaos GG version)
4- Wacky Workbench Past (Sonic CD)
5- Robotinik Winter Zone (Sonic Triple Trouble)
6- Gust Planet Zone Act 3 (Sonic Next Level)
You may wonder: How do I know what music will be used in Sonic 3 SMS: Timelines? The answer is because João Araya asked me to do 16-bit remix to this music in a public comment on my 16-bit remix of Turquoise Hill Zone (Game Gear)
Thanks for responding! It's pretty easy to notice that these remixes will be used for S3SMS by the words "Sonic 3 version" at the end of the titles (which was the case with Sonic Chaos Character Select being labeled as Sonic 2 version) and due to you being involved in S2SMS Remake's 16-bit music (which sounds amazing and fits the game well, keep up the good work).
Also I managed to add your 16-bit remixes into Sonic 1 SMS Remake (through modifying files) and they work there well too.

Originally it was supposed to be Hidden Palace with the unused music from the the original Sonic 2 SMS.

1. At the three falling platforms, seems the order doesn't matter. Might have to do twice thought.
2. At the parts you need to jump on the vines, you don't need to leave the tight tunnel underneath the boxes, you can do it there.
I know but this was recorded 1 hour after the update was released so I had to figure it out myself (and this the first video showcasing it) and back then I didn't know this.

Question. How did you crack the code?
Pure trial and error. The level geometry itself gives hints as to what to do and because there were no other videos about it then (since this is the first one covering and I played the game at the exact moment the update dropped) I just wasted an hour trying to figure it out.

Hey how do you even get that zone
Beat the game as Sonic + Tails with all 7 Chaos Emeralds. Then you will unlock Hyper Sonic + Tails and Espio + Vector as playable character. Then just simply select Time Hill Act 1 with Espio + Vector and you will be in Hidden Cave.

@@Gorilla-r4g no. Technically speaking Sonic Chaos is named Sonic 3 in the prototypes but the official names of the games (in Japan) are Sonic & Tails (SC) and Sonic & Tails 2 (STT)
