    Sir according to this, it seems easier to enter into specialities like Psychiatry, Neurology at ST3 ,ST4 levels after clearing Royal college exams along with post-graduation in India, instead of clearing Plab and applying at ST 1 levels.
    Also listening about the reintroduction of RLMT in near future is demotivating me to pursue UK pathway.

    • @SumanPaulDoc
      @SumanPaulDoc  2 года назад +1

      The ratio is less at higher grades but you are competing with different profile of trainees than at ST1 level.
      There is no official announcement to reintroduce RLMT.

    Dear sir , I would like to enter the Training Pathway in UK Obstetrics and Gynecology, now I have 3 ways to register for the GMC. please help me
    The first way is MTI is very suitable for me because it recognizes 4 years of work in Egypt and I will travel on ST 3 and take two years of training to complete the MRCOG and then register for the GMC by MRCOG
    The second is that I complete the parts of the MRCOG, take the Part 2 + Part 3 exam, travel, and register for the GMC with the MRCOG.
    The third is that I take the PLAB exam and travel and start the path from the beginning and try to enter the training pathway from the beginning because I saw a response from you on RUclips that one of the requirements for training in obstetrics and gynecology is that I have not had more than 24 months of experience in obstetrics and gynecology.
    This 24 months of obstetrics and gynecology experience in U.K

    Sir if PLAB is a licensing exam then how to pursue MD then DM.... after PLAB should we give one more exam ?
    What do students do after cracking PLAB exam?

    • @SumanPaulDoc
      @SumanPaulDoc  2 года назад +1

      After PLAB, they have to apply for specialty training in their specialty of choice and then enter training. Some specialties have exams but others just do interview and CV review.

    Thank u sir for your informative videos. I’ve completed MRCOG Part2. U know, It requires 03 years training to sit for MRCOG Part 3 exam. I’ve already completed 1.5 years Post Graduation (FCPS) in OG from my country (Bangladesh). Now, I want to settle in UK as doctor of OG. What should I do in my current position. Should I go for MTI pathway or not? If I get chance for MTI system then is it possible to count rest of my 1.5 years training to apply for MRCOG part 3 exam from 02 years training under MTI pathway. My another question is that, during MTI process can I bring my child & husband in UK under dependent visa or other condition.

    • @SumanPaulDoc
      @SumanPaulDoc  Год назад +1

      Your FCPS experience will be counted towards this 3 yrs requirement for part 3. Either you can continue to work in Bangladesh after your degree or utilise MTI route- both options will help you towards MRCOG 3. MTI is preferable as you will get UK experience. You can bring your husband and children as dependants during MTI and even other work visa.
