Sir, how do we switch from CESR to CCT? For example, after MD Medicine in India, if I get GMC registration after MRCP, would I have an option to go through either CESR-CP or CCT?
Thank you for all your videos. Much appreciated :)

    • @SumanPaulDoc

CESR-CP or CCT is decided once you start your training and it's merely an administrative job. After CESR CP you get CESR as a degree.

This is true for competitive specialty where people will wait for years to enter training or don't get a consultant job even after completion of CCT.no one can remain trainee forever as the training contract can be extended for maximum 6months only.

Good afternoon Sir, planning to move UK as consultant. I have FRCS Glasgow ophthalmology degree(2012) in addition to DNB(2007). I have recently written OET exam for GMC registration and waiting for results. It would be great help if you could guide further in this matter. Have a healthy and happy life ahead.
    Regards
    Dr.Jay
