I listen to bands like Lagwagon, Hot Water Music, The Lawrence Arms, Propagandhi etc. I don't know what other Taking Back Sunday songs sound like but judging by the comments, it is not this. I absolutely love this song though. If more of their songs sounded like this then I'd be all for it.

Because some people still live back in 2002/04/06 and need to move forward. I'd be alot more band if in 14 years these guys kept playing music that sounded the same from tayf instead they grew up and had experiences and their music reflects it.
Because, for whatever reason, some people don't dig that 70's style punk sound. I think this TBS-meets-Clash sound is amazing personally. The bridge is so epic and makes me want to pump my fist.

You guys have named like 20 bands that they have "ripped off"....aka they didn't rip anybody off, just stepped into a new genre for a song, maybe an album. And guess what, they killed it.

80% of the footage in this video is from their Taste of Chaos set in Philly in June 2016. I was there and can confirm that not only was it an amazing set, but this song was so fun to hear live and the crowd was loving it.
They played this at Taste of Chaos and it was a ton of fun live. I've been a TBS fan for approx. a million years, and yes, Tell All Your Friends will always be my favorite album, but I've also loved (nearly) everything else they've put out. I like watching/listening to their sound evolve. TBS has grown with me and my musical tastes, and I think that's pretty rad.
can't wait for the new album, I own every single one and love them all differently. This rocks and I love they are experimenting with their sound TBS4LIFE.
