Yes she is the master of Dynamics and power and range the complete package. I know there are a lot of good singers out there but I don't think anybody can touch her
Ann Wilson could possibly be a female Robert Plant she has such a beautiful voice, when she sang stairway to heaven Robert Plant had a tear in his eye 😻
@@rickpeterson8825Search for Heart Kennedy Center and you will find Ann & Nancy's performance of "Stairway to Heaven" ... Powerful to say the very least.
Ann Wilson and her sister Nancy Wilson are the most powerful women in rock and roll. Both women have so much talent. I have been a fan since the 70's. As a teen, Crazy on You and Magic Man blew me away. Ann still has a powerful voice and she can belt out the songs like no one else can. ❤❤
I love Ann. And Nancy. I love who they are as people, besides performers. I think with all the touring dates, Ann has strained her voice. You can hear it, especially when she started with Alone. That’s a tough song to sing, especially with that amazing note in the middle. That may be why she cut it short. After she warmed up, her voice got stronger. Touring is HARD work!!! 💜💜💜
She's also 73. A lot of artists loose their voice by then. But not Ann. She may not have the voice she had in the 1970s through mid 1980s, but she still sounds powerful.
I remember back when I was 16 of what album I should buy, and of all of the great bands of that era I decided to buy Hearts Dream boat Annie, I'm probably spelling it wrong but when I heard them and saw the Wilson sisters, I feel in love with their talent, Ann's voice And Nancy on the guitar, I new I made the right choice, Beautiful Ladies then and now and forever, Love you both and thank you for all the magic you brought into my Heart, Love and Peace to you Ladies forever ❤🙏
Such an original powerful voice. No one has dared copy her. I remember when my guy friends back in the 80s and 90s used to make fun of me for being a fan of Heart until they made it into the RocknRoll Hall of Fame and is now still standing❤❤❤❤❤
Love you Anne Wilson! Been listening to your albums since you and Nancy named your band!!! Of course we all get older but you look and sound fantastic ❤❤
While we have lost so many great performers over the last several years,I am glad that Ann and Nancy are still around performing and gracing us with their music.
Thank you for posting-was in my teens when first listened, amazing how music is one of the only things that can capture a memory& instantly 'live it' again
such a beautiful lady and most importantly a rock GOD. how can anyone sound this awesome. shes getting long in the tooth like me and most who appreciate her. please enjoy your life for the rest of us. relax and know we love YOU ANN.
The very first time I heard Heart was in the early 70's The Song was Barracuda!! From That Day all the way up until Now SHE IS MY VERY FAVORITE SINGER!!!! 🌹♥️
She is amazing! I remember being at Summer Jam in 1976 to see Heart and Fleetwood Mac, Bob Seeger and more. I loved watching heart perform and became an instant fan of both sisters and their band! I was a Heart Fan starting at 15 years old and still a current fan. They perform music that has mystifying energy . The lyrics are one of a kind! They sing and perform from emotional true stories, dreams living life and faith of the unknown human journey on earth. 7:237:23
Like fine🍷wine, Ann just keeps getting better with age. 🌹I have always respected both Ann and Nancy Wilson and it's never wavered. 💐Thanks for sharing.
@@rockit3422 It's a long story. I've met a lot of bands behind the Newport in Columbus Ohio. Cheap trick, Cinderella, Bad company etc. All great experiences. Ann pulled up about 4pm or so. I got there very early being a big Heart fan since '77. She stepped off the bus and I was probably 15 yards away. I gave her her space. She was holding her baby she had just adopted. I said "Hello Ann" and she reluctantly said "hello" Kind of gave me a dirty look, but I wasn't about to approach her while she was holding her baby. She got back on the bus and everyone else went inside. Howard Leese came out and chatted very casually for a while. Very nice guy. I had a copy of Greatest hits/live which he was happy to sign. After a while 3 lesbians showed up. Lol. They were kind of obnoxious so Ann's tour manager called Columbus police. He told them to leave the area. I talked to the cop for a while. Great guy. He had never heard of Heart. So finally it's getting close to showtime. She never went in for sound check. Ann's tour manager had been talking to me off and on all afternoon. Maybe 15 minutes before the show, her manager told me I had to go across the ally, but to give her the album and she would ask Ann to sign it. I told her at that point I wasn't interested, but she talked me into it. So as I was leaving Ann asked for the cop to come over so she could thank him. I guess for running off the ladies and protecting her from the respectful non threatening guy who just wanted an autograph and share a quick moment. Lol. Great show and afterwards I went back to the bus and the manager gave me the album and I thanked her. I still think she's great and I always say all they owe you is a good show. I'm glad you had a not outstanding experience, but at least it was better than mine! When I met Slash I was surprised how casual and friendly he was.
Sod the music, " said the man in the suit, "I understand profit and without that, it's no use, Why don't you go away and write commercial songs; Come back in three years, that shouldn't be too long... "
Forget Steven Tyler or Coverdale or any of the other rumored Robert Plant replacements. If Zeppelin ever did a show or a tour without Robert Plant, Ann Wilson should be the replacement.
Wow! Thanks for sharing this! I fell in love with Heart when I was around thirteen and bought Dreamboat Annie at a record store! I will soon be fifty five and Wil always love Ann and Nancy Wilson.
Her voice - I don’t know how it’s possible to be that GOOD for SO long. Remarkable.
Can't believe she's 73!!!

Sings better at 73 than most “famous” singers today. Took great care of her voice, it’s no accident.
Look and genetics mostly

I agree but I would add Pat Benatar. No one can compare today to those 3 imo.
@RobinLudera absolutely! I saw Pat Benatar in concert and she was incredible! And her husband is an outstanding guitarist!
Nancy's guitar intro to Crazy on You is phenomenal. These two women are legendary.

Wow, her voice is still incredible!
Wow, still such power in her voice. Amazing lady
She is amazing. She has such a raw, powerful voice. Gives me chills.
I'd go with Janis Joplin as the greatest, along with Grace Slick and Ann in her prime.
She has an amazing voice 👍🏼
Thank God, she has kept those golden pipes! Amazing! Love you Anne
Her voice is stunning 😍
She doesn't sing as good as when Heart first started. I'd watch her perform. They did cover several Led Zeppelin songs also.
This lady knows and appreciates Led Zeppelin's music. Go! Ann Wilson, Go!
How can anyone not be mesmerized by such a wonderfully beautiful and powerful voice! ❤
Ann is the goat of all woman singers in my book, and pat benatar is my second favorite.
I love her so much! This band with her is just pure gold. Can’t wait to see them again Sunday. 💜🎸🤘🏻😃🎸💜
