@@EiyuuOumono It's a new thing linked to the Sun Disc. Once its quest is completed and it "levels up", all Ascended beings (in this case, at least Renekton, Nasus and Azir) will level up further.

@@ZilNab The problem is that you sacrifice a lot of consistency for the potential upside of getting to rally and tack on Shyvana....also it was just a joke
Plus Shyvana's champion spell can grant Renekton challenger. And a lot more access to challenger. Leveling him up will be so easy.
@@mypersonalaccount4934 you forget one thing, being full shurima gives you the land mark for free (free draw) and is essential to lvl up renek in his ultimate form. Since you need 25 turn with the landmark on board to lvl up renek you better use that on your turn 1.
@@TerminusPrime I think Renekton, even without level 3, is completely viable. They prolly design those Ascended champion so that the disk is optional, but has a sick payoff and much better if used together. An 8/8 attacker is really oppresive.
Darius: When i lvl up i have 10 power and overwhelm
Renekton: Hold my sundisk
To be fair, Renekton NEEDS the sundisk, and that is pretty much only viable in mono Shurima decks. Darius can level up in any burn deck that gets mildly viable and that makes it more splashable and versatile.
I could see Renekton working with Noxus using Katarina similar to the Katering Ram decks. Renekton has good synergy with Whirling Death since you can set it up so that he levels up in one attack. While Battering Ram has more damage potential, Renekton is cheaper and more durable.

That seems to be the idea, but keep in mind you have to protect Sun Disk to do so. Tho, it's true it might quickly become a problem if we don't get more good landmark removals
The conditions to get them is too slow anyways.
Just exaggerating a bit guys maybe over tuned a bit but I don’t mean actually over powered, just think they look really good
a card that has to lvl up 2 times needs a strong effect as payoff or else it's just some yugioh bullshit where you need to meet 50 conditions to summon a vanilla creature

Love how we can get more flavor with the champs because they don't have to all be equal power for a MOBA setting. Ascended are supposed to be demi-gods and their level 3 form reflects this.

Technically aspects and ascended are two different things
No they're not. Aspects ( the human conduit ) merely borrow powers from gods while Ascended became gods.
Ascended are human ascend to a god through the sun disk power,while Aspects are the real God ,they are on a higher level
aspects are the mortal conduit of the celestials, that either embody their values, or match their ideals/purpose. The ascended are mortals uplifted by the light of the sun disc ( thought to be a gift from the aspects/celestials to humans, to help fight the void).

@@allenz_yt Well yes, but there'll be situations that quicksand will be even better. Let's suppose there's a Farron attacking you. If you hush it, it's still a 8/8 that needs to be chump blocked. If you quicksand it, it's 4/8, and maybe you can tank the damage if there's no good block. Of course, keywords are not the only effect, if you quicksand leveled ASol he'll lose fury but celestials would still cost zero.
Hush is 10x more problematic, it can stop champs from leveling, deny text efects and remove health from combat tricks, which is far more toxic then quicksand.

Overwhelm always goes through barriers and if he could break barriers that would make them completely unplayable

0:42 If you slow down at about 0.5 playback speed, you can see that he ripped off one of the soldier's head. Though it's very subtle, it was clear to see what he did.
