How To Install nvidia broadcast in obs

Thanks for the video! Just a tip for anyone having issues getting this to work! 1) Close Nvidia Broadcast. Open OBS and Disable your webcam sources in OBS and 'deactivate' your webcam device in the source properties, then close (exit) OBS. 2) Start up Nvidia Broadcast, set up your cam and leave it running in the background! 3) Open OBS, add a new video capture device, from devices make sure to select the 'Camera (Nvidia Broadcast)' from the devices dropdown box. 4) Your webcam should now be working! - Hope this helps!

Hi there , thanks for the tip in advance. I have done so, but still fucking OBS doesnt recognize the nvidia broadcasta camera, I deactivate all sources, happen the same couple of weeks ago , was working and then stopped, thanks in advancve

Hey man, just wanna let ya know that this is USING nvidia broadcast WITH OBS, not installing it. The correct way to install it into OBS would be to download the NVIDIA Broadcast resources per specific card, and install those into OBS itself allowing access to the same filters that are in the NVIDIA Broadcast program inside OBS to be applied to ANY source you want not just your camera, along with any audio you want not just one audio source, and allows you to free up resources by not running the NVIDIA Broadcast program at all whatsoever.
EDIT: I want to add that the entire time I was watching your video I was thinking that you needed to use it because your mic peaks and drops a LOT without you even moving away or closer or speaking louder or softer. Then at the end, you were talking about how you won't use it because you've tweaked yours. Take a listen to this upload on full volume, there is waves consistantly, I tested it on a few devices. Just thought you should know. It is a great video, and you did still show a more basic way of achieving a similar result, but installing it into OBS would net quite a bit more features that IMO outweigh installing nvidia broadcast at all.

Am I able to use this nvidia broadcast on other softwares too? (like if I play games and I want the game the filter out the background noise) If have to decide on if I buy myself a microphone, but I have a laptop in my background that may get a bit louder. This is why I need this information. Ik that I am able to filter this out on obs but am I able to use it everywhere else?

Yeah should be working. Just make sure you got it running an then select it as audio input instead of your microphone. (Your microphone should be selected in Nvidia broadcast ofc.)
