- Went to 2 different Japanese ramen shops with 2 very different price points. The seafood king crab ramen I had later in the day, while expensive, is one of my favorite ramen in Singapore.

The tsukemen looks soo goood! 😭 If youre looking for another place, Sanpoutei is another place with tsukemen, with their thick dried sardine broth that’s super mouth watering ❤️ their ramen bowls are also super good, and so is their mini rice bowls!!
For $48 USD, it better be the best ever, right? That all looked amazing, as usual, and I can't get over how you always seem to find the best places to eat most everywhere, Mike!

As a kid, I didn't like, absolutely could not stand, my food to touch each other! I'd section everything off, with pathways of plate separating everything. Now, as an adult, I know I was just insane! The more the different foods creep into and onto each other, well folks, that's when the magic happens! And when those pathways of plate are removed, it's a sudden and satisfying brawl for supremacy! Thanks Mike for reminding me of just how wonderful it is to dip and dunk you way through that war room! And just how insane I was as a child. Well, insane about mixing food!

It's hot there. And I have noticed his shirts seem one size too tight. I think it's the combination of the heat, humidity, his sweat, and perhaps wiping his hands on his shirt.

Around 14 minutes in when you get the first ramen at the last restaurant you list all of the ingredients except for the leaf. But 1. it says the name of that leaf on their menu, in the description of that dish, and I had to look because 2. that's a cool leaf worth mentioning (which is why it's listed on their menu) it is Mizuna. It's a small leaf vegetable in the same plant family as mustard and broccoli used in Japanese cooking. And something I grow in my yard every year because it's not commonly sold in grocery stores in the USA. Since it grows no bigger than a dandelion, you can grow some in a little flower pot in your kitchen window. Please don't name and describe every meat, the differences between different types of noodles, etc, and either ignore "the leaves" or call them "the spices, the veggies, the leaves, etc." because some of those things you overlook are awesome. Thank you for reminding me to plant my kitchen window Mizuna this winter.

I think you're supposed to leave the soft boiled egg in the little bowl, and dip the Nabeyaki stuff into the egg to get the full eggy-ness. Otherwise putting it in and stirring can dilute the egg.
Or you can leave people alone and let them eat what they want.
