Hope his video brings more people to support the local businesses! Those grandmas and grandpas hard working need to be rewarded properly! Also hope their art of cooking will pass on to the generations to come.
Hey Mike, I saw your previous video where you mentioned a new hotter version of your hot oil. I immediately ordered some and got to try it this morning with breakfast. OMG. you said it was hotter and you delivered. Amazing. I am so glad I ordered three!
Mike, your stomach capacity is legendary! That said, all of these wonderful Singapore food vlogs are making me feel like I need to visit Singapore for a food tour extravaganza! 😋
I've watched and enjoyed most of Mikey's videos, but this hotpot is probably the most mouth-watering I've seen. I really like the idea of getting so many different vegetables and meats and letting them simmer in the hotpot and then eating it with rice. Nothing wasted and it seems so mouth-wateringly good... and that's without mentioning the burnt edges of that cheese...
One of my fondest memory in Singapore was having cockles in the 24/7 hawker market after midnight. I can still recollect how amazing it was specially the dipping Red Chilli Sauce ❤😊
Your continuing foodie stops in Singapore are legendary! I was planning on coming to Singapore for 10 days but after seeing & cataloging your most recent vlog I think I need to spend at least a month!
I LOVE that the menu has instructions! Korean BBQ/ Hotpot can be intimidating with all the banchan, etc! I love it but sometimes I don't know where to start lol. Now the cheese ring😳😃😍OMG lol
That huge ring of cheese... life changing! 🤣 that doesn't look like the army stew I'm used to, but I would eat that in a heartbeat. The variety of fish cake, the abalone, the fried rice finish.. yes please!
Mikey needs multiple bowls. Eat a bowl while the others cool down. Then go down the assembly line while refilling the bowl he just finished. Now that's efficiency that Mikey would appreciate 🤣🤣🤣
The ring of cheese...yum!! Absolutely love those rice cakes too ..I only discovered them earlier this year and have been obsessed ever since! The texture is great.
I like to cook my potatoes in the hot pot 1st then put it on the BBQ after the meat is cooked. The potatoes picks up so much of the meat flavors that way. Bonus you get crispy parts on the potato
Not sure if u have already left Singapore but I would love u to go try this place call seng kee black chicken herbal soup in kembangan. I heard that the crab bee hoon is amazing(didn manage to try that myself). I tried their lala bee hoon, crispy pan fried bee hoon, fried fermented pork before and they are all delicious. They have alot of food that looks so good in their menu as well
It's a bit risky to eat bivalve shellfish that hasn't been cooked long enough to open them. That's how you tell which ones are not safe to eat (the ones that do not open).
Wow Mike, why do I feel like you’re eating around the world in Singapore? So many types of cuisine in Singapore. What’s next? Turkish and middle eastern food?
There's a popular well-established tteokbokki buffet chain called DOOKKI in Korea that also has locations all over SE Asia, including Singapore. The 90 Minutes tteokbokki hot pot place is pretty much a knock-off of Dookki, except it also has raw meat and clams as options. Also, you're supposed to remove most of the leftover ingredients and extra soup from the pot before adding in the fried rice mixture (i.e., your "2nd meal" or dookki, which means 2 meals).
Mike! If you see this, can you try Malay dishes in Singapore? The best place to go is definitely Hajah Maimunah restaurant if you want authentic malay dishes.
HI Mikey I wanted you to know that my house is on board with HELLO FRESH !!!!👍WE LOVE IT !!!!The pork chops were PHENOMENAL with the sauce on them and I'm making the Italian chicken over lemony spaghetti tonight!!!!Such a great service we receive it 3 days a week I'm soooo happy with it THUS far!!!!!👍👍🙏💙💗💞😘💜
I’m glad they didn’t let him grab the food, that way they can control the portions, good for them! Good for waste in general, it’s stewed rice not fried rice lol. Not one video without using the word umami lol.
My god that first place is amazing! And the price is ridiculous, you'd never find something that good and plentiful here in Munich. And if you did, it'd cost you AT LEAST 80 Euros per person without free drinks or refills.
Korean hotpot/stew looked fab. Followed by that curry brilliant. Pho I'm in heaven! Careful with closed clams Mikey if they're not open they are either not cooked long enough or are bad 🤔
Hello Mike, my husband is from Xi'an as well, we would to like you to try Xi'an impression at vision exchange at jurong east. Its really authentic, love their biangbiang noodle and 肉夹馍.
We have a couple of unlimited toppoki places like this here in manila. Really great deal, huge selection of food, in a very reasonable price. Also, love every single you post here and on strictlh dumpling. Thank you for feeding us with amazing food adventures. Ps. Whats the song title in the beginning of the vid? Thanks.
Hey Mike! Remember me? Shawn from Singapore. How long do you plan to stay in Singapore this time? You needa try these skewer places out, they are really REALLY good, even for someone who grew up in China. 东方美食in Chinatown and 好再来 at Kallang.
Mike you missed an opportunity.... when making the fried rice with the left over should have scraped the cheese and corn ring and added it to the fried rice... yum...
How many months has he in Singapore now? He should seriously consider a change of address by now. Btw, if you ever consider to go to Jakarta, make sure to make a reservation at Warung SCI. You won't regret it. And a single reservation takes a couple of MONTHS to get, so better plan ahead.
That cheap for all you can eat food and all you can drink soda?! I think I need to move Singapore up to the top of my travel itinerary, even over my beloved Japan, now! Though I think I'd have to get used to having my stomach incinerated by all the chili pepper heat...I suspect it will be completely worth it?
@@krislv9219 It'll be a while before I can get back there, but it will happen! 🙂 But Singapore is now definitely high on my list of countries to see, along with Thailand and the Philippines.
Mike? Is there any chance you can take a break from the food and MAYBE rate some amusement parks and visual attractions? Love the foodie videos, but maybe a change in venue would be nice. Thank you.
Mike's having an absolute blast in Singapore. As a Singaporean, I'm happy he gets to taste such a wide variety of delicious food

It's such an epic place and the Singapore people are soooo cool! I just love that Mikey's living in Singapore!

Relax Janet 😂

In one video you said you were a “dumper” at hotpots. I feel like this is perfect for people like you! 😂
that looks so good! Love your videos. thank you for showing us so much of the world and its cuisine!

So does other cuisines in Asia like Thai food etc.

Went to the first restaurant before, my favourite sauce combi for the soup is 'mala+volcano+carbonara'....

Those time limits are a rip off, considering how long it takes for the hot pot to get hot and for the vegetables to cook.
