I like the distance, I used to change the buttons to the right most buttons available because I was use to more distance between buttons and stick. I was thinking Obsidian 2, but may grab one of these instead. Thanks for the video! Hopefully they open up orders soon.

I would install a Sanwa JLF lever lever, an eight-way restrictor gate, a ball-top or bat-top and Seimitsu buttons into the Qanba Drone 2.

The Titan looks like a winner for me! I love the Obsidian 1 but always hated the style of the “function” buttons and how wide it was. Would love to get a Titan and mod it to be all silent parts with the Gravity buttons and a silent stick.

The Titan looks good. I really like the spacing between the stick and buttons.

I appreciate the box having a handle. Monitors are in the same realm - you don't always get that (small) luxury.

The Qanba pearl is perfect. I can see the titan replacing the drone but it’s smaller than the pearl and oddly shaped. I’d give it a passing grade for an entry level stick but I’d strongly recommend the Pearl over the rest of the Qanba lineup

Great review. Definitely will keep my eye on the newer version of the Titan.

Qanba’s Obsidian & Pearl are also PS5 ready. Used them for the Street Fighter 6 Beta.

The Qanba Titan looks like stick I'd probably get. I wish it had a USB-C detachable cable, and it was a more common and less premium feature to have on arcade sticks

Great little overview of the two sticks! Will you be checking out the new Obsidian too when that comes out?
Very much looking forward to more news about that.

Yes of course! I'm a big fan of the first obsidian and will put out a video as soon as I get the 2nd one! TY for the kind words.

    - No noir layout
    - easy scratch panel (even though, as he said, it’s not the final version)
    - no artwork
    - 245 usd price titan
    - 145 usd price drone (with no sanwa buttons)
    - no input lag comparison
    - design not my cup of tea (both of the titan and drone)
    - touchpad too close at the top buttons
    I’ll buy it, sure.

people need to learn sanwa buttons arent that good lmfao. They are low quality buttons compared to whats on the market these days such as crown 202s, gamer fingers, qanba gravity, etc. Same for JLFS, 7 dollar levers in expensive sticks are worthless. I agree with you on everything else but they should put a better price value with the levers and buttons

  • @leeraym

i wish they would've made the touchpad smaller and moved it away from the buttons like the Hori Alpha.
Love the space between the Lever and Buttons. Ergonomic! ♥️

Good run down of the Drone 2 and the Titan prototype. Sucks that both have attached cables. What is Qanba thinking? Every fightstick in this day and age should be USB-C connected.
I still own my first generation Qanba Q4 RAP from back in 2011. It was my first serious fightstick, and it's still amazing, and I put it up there with Qanba's own Obsidian. It's still one of the best fightsticks when it comes to having among the lowest of latency. I want more fightsticks to focus on lowering their latency.
