SUR#002 - VXE R1 PRO After months of use, an undeniable budget beast! Straight Up Review. Quick and to the point. For the average consumer. Follow for most content - @Trucksin on X!
im ordering this soon. the R1 pro edition. not he max. currently have the gpx. I was wondering how the latency are on the clicks of main button and side button compared to gpx
im not exactly sure on the specifics but im sure you can find someone that did an XLAT test on it for latency speeds. Otherwise in hand you cannot feel or tell that theres any better or worse latency than a gpx.
I got mine a few weeks ago and i dont know if its just mine but even if i squeeze the sides lightly there are very noticeable cracking noises. Also, the right click feels super snappy and responsive, however, the left feels super slow, kind of mushy and makes a spring noise when ever i release the click. It also makes a light ticking noise whenever i tap it.
Yeah ive read over the last few months after receiving mine, quite a few other people have had slight qc issues. I think the second batches might have had more qc issues but im not exactly sure. I would still reach out to them if possible and see about a warranty is possible!
@@WendellSoft if you have a mushy click (common issue on pulsar mice and some vxe) there's dampeners on the mouse clicks where they interact with the switches. You can take those off and if you need something to occupy the space ive seen people use alu tape as a shim.
Got mine 3days ago, disappointed in quality. The left and right click is not even. The post travel is annoying. Gap between clicking using fingertip and claw is noticable. I regret not buying sora v2😢
Yeah ive heard the newer batches arent the greatest QC. My order was placed upon release. Could be because their Mad R (the upgraded version of the R1) came out a month ago. I would have recommended that instead if you just bought this now. Also ninjutsos customer service is pretty bad and their promised 8k dongle is still not even available so.
@@Trucksin wow really ninjusu cs is bad? What can you recommend then? I want smooth mouse click. I tried using wd40 in my rakk talan and its smooth af. Too bad the grease got stuck inside🤣
@@clive0494 well first id recommend trying to reach out to VXE support and see if you can get it RMA'd. To be honest most mice nowadays have some slight qc issues even logitech and razer so its all kinda of a gamble and then hoping customer service helps you out if there is an issue.
@@Trucksin i will return it tomorrow hope they will accept.cuz im not satisfied with the switches really bothers me playing valorant. Besides pulsar x2v2 mini and sora v2. Anything can you recommend please? Thanks a lot.
@@clive0494 With similar shapes/sizes the only other thing would be an atlantis mini but the side profile is way different. sora is quite a bit more curved than x2v2 as well. beast x mini might be something worth looking at or the medium size if the mini is too small.
Yes there’s some different xlat spec sheets laying around but the only one I could find right away is for the SE version which has a 3395se which is bit slower (more latency) than the 3395 in the r1 pro and pro max. Here’s a link to the SE xlat x.com/pistashhhh/status/1756170587075236051?s=46&t=EjO-ECjJRLT2-uyr0jEVlQ
in your point of view what u think is better? the r1 or r1 pro max
I would get the R1 pro, but if you're deciding between r1 and the pro max version i would get the pro max. It has a better coating and internals.
@@Trucksin tks a lot
Awesome thumbnail!
thank you sir

@@Trucksin I did buy it from AliExpress and they do have a 90 day return policy, so I will try return it and get a refund or maybe a replacement.
@@chronicleheavy Sounds like a good idea. If you do end up getting good qc this mouse is amazing for the price.
Bro you sound so much like technoblade omg . It brings back memories
What kind of mousepad is that? Is it glass?
Yeah it’s glass! It’s called ‘Glaze’ and it’s sold by a shop named La Onda.
Is it worth upgrading to this from glorious model o minus ?
In my opinion, yes. The internals are way better. Different shapes though keep that in mind. Use eloshapes.com to compare shapes/sizes!
What skates are those!!? Name plz
Ultraglide RS skates off Aliexpress!
Good stuff man!
Thanks ryn ❤️
crazy mouse for stock and for ~$40. got mine for about $30.
Did u buy with 4K dongle?
Great review 😊
thank you!
the right click mushy feel can be fixed by opening the mouse and removing a silicone black square on the click !!
Can you say me exactly where it is?
its not mushy though unfortunately and i have opened it, its part of the actual click housing getting caught on the shell.
