    Lyrics:
She said "I'm fine, I'm okay" cover up your trembling hands
There's indecision when you know you ain't got nothing left
When the good times never stay
And the cheap thrills always seem to fade away
    When will we fall down
Jump back, got to get out of here
    Been too long this time
Jump back, got to get out of here
    When will we fall down

For 1, this band just never hit it as big as they probably should have (partially blame the name?) and 2, nobody under 40 has ever heard of them.

I’m not sure I’ve heard a band with so many radio-ready hits, and yet so unknown. They were/are too good of a band to be overlooked as much as they were.

Very interesting observation. Here’s the thing… just take a look at all the bands out there - including all the ones that even play in dive bars throughout the entire world. Now look at TTWS & put them on a scale with all those bands right?. Where do they fall. Well they are definitely not ‘unknown’ or ‘undiscovered’. They do have international ‘fame’ & ‘popularity’. TTWS does not have the ‘sound’ wanted consistently for main stream radio. But they sure as hell got plenty of ‘college town’ alternative play. If they didn’t regroup back in 2011 or whenever it was…. They’d be more obscure

Goddammit best memories of the 90s hit me when I hear this. Skateboarding. Flannel Shirts. Battle of the bands. My older sisters friends trying acid. Walking in the woods in the fall. Getting home from school and talking to your friends on the phone that hung on the wall. The smell of cigarettes in your car. I could go on and on.

She said, "I'm fine, I'm okay"
    Cover up your trembling hands
There's indecision when you know you ain't got nothing left
When the good times never stay
And the cheap thrills always seem to fade away
    When will we fall?
    When will we fall down?
Jump back, gotta get out of here
Been too, too long this time
Jump back, gotta get out of here
When will, when will we fall down
She hates her life, she hates her skin
    She even hates her friends
Tries to hold on to all the reputations she can't mend
And there's some chance we could fail
But the last time, someone's always there for bail
    When will we fall?
    When will we fall down?
Jump back, gotta get out of here
Been too, too long this time
Jump back, gotta get out of here
When will, when will we fall down?
When will we, when will we fall down?
    When will we fall?
    When will, when will
    When will we fall?
She said, "I'm fine, I'm okay"
    Cover up your trembling hands
There's indecision when you know you ain't got nothing left
For the last time conscience calls
For a good friend, I was never there at all
    When will we fall?
    When will we fall down?
Jump back, gotta get out of here
Been too, too long this time
Jump back, gotta get out of here
When will, when will we fall down?
When will we, when will we fall down?
    When will we fall?

That's what got ME on here last night. I remember these guys when their songs were new, but I was just barely legal drinking age. Last night, at 50, I was in Tijuana Flats in Fort Myers, and this song was playing. I paid attention to the chorus line so I could look this song up that way. It had been so long, I had no clue who this band was but I knew by the tune that it was definitely early to mid nineties. It's just obvious.

As an armchair historian, it is my duty to give you this fast, historical fact: The dance marathon you see here, was a real phenomenon of the Great Depression of the 1930s. Naturally, the music was Jazz and Swing, rather than Rock, but this was still the general idea. Because literally everyone went broke within a month's time, people signed up for these dance-a-thons for two reasons - A) to distract themselves from the bleak reality of life of extreme and desperate poverty, and B) to try to win the sizeable cash prize....so they can sustain for another day or two. Participants would dance until they dropped from exhaustion, as these typically went on for two or three days.....straight!. You couldn't stop. NO breaks. Just non-stop dancing. Some men even had to prop up their exhausted wives, pretending to still be dancing, but actually just standing there, swaying side to side. I believe even a death or two resulted. Terrible when you stop to think about it.

I was in high school in ‘94 when this came out and this was an extremely popular song in my school. I remember it being played at school dances and people going nuts jumping up and down during the chorus. Those were awesome times to be young. 1994 was an especially amazing year.

This song came out when I was first learning to drive, in a beater 1972 F-250 with a 4-speed manual. I still have to speed and do burnouts when I hear this jam..

I'm addicted to music videos cause 90% of the time they come up with some weird concept like this one, but though set, costume, cast, & creativity, they make it look like an awesome art film or something..... nothing better on the planet than creativity & imagination...

I won a toad the wet sprocket cd off of a radio station back in 1994 but didn't have a cd player. Luckily a buddy did and I got to hear these songs when they were new. :)

I like the lyric: "For the last time conscience calls
For a good friend I was never there at all." It really sounds like he is exposing himself as a person who uses people. It really lets you know who your friends really are.

I'm just now discovering these guys... they're like that band that has the sound I've always loved, but never had any music like... a combo of sounds of different bands I liked and thought, "Man, if only someone would've made more songs like these when I was growing up." And here they are. I don't know if that makes any sense, but... man, they're good.

mrchuckmorris This is one of the most underrated bands of the 90s. From a 90s teen who always rejected the emerging thug cRap for real music, this band just never sort of caught on. They are amazing.
