John 5 : 24 "Verily, verily, I say unto you , he who hears my word and believes on him that sent me, has everlasting life and shall not perish , but has passed from death unto life"
This was a great blessing to me and gave me a strong assurance.
I hope it will be a blessing to others.

As a child I believed that the Bible was the word of God and that Jesus was my savior .In 1988 I had a wonderful girlfriend , we raced motorcycles , we went to bluegrass festivals and did whatever we wanted to do . I realized that I had everything the world said was happiness but I felt something important was missing and I didn't know what it was. I tried scientology , all kinds of yoga, martial arts and various other disciplines but nothing satisfied me . One Sunday morning I came home drunk in a taxicab and waiting outside of my house was a man who was giving my roommate a ride to church. I had gone to alcoholics anonymous for six months and they helped me a lot but I had gone back to drinking .He invited me to sit in his car and talk. He asked me if I wanted a bible study. I said I would love to have a bible study . He came on Monday nights the only night of the week that I didn't drink. It was a 12 week bible study that went from Genesis to Revelation. He showed me in the book of Acts ( Acts 2:38 ) where it said repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost . I said I'd never seen that in the bible and I wanted to get baptized in Jesus' name and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. I got baptized in Jesus' name and prayed for two months to get the Holy Ghost. The night that I got the Holy Ghost I was praying and I started to talk in tongues , I felt wonderful and GOD delivered me from the spirit of alcohol . I have never wanted to drink since then and I praise GOD for that.
. The man who gave me the twelve week bible study taught me a ' GODHEAD ' bible study twice but i didn't understand the oneness of God or the trinity . I was reading the bible one day and read Ephesians 4 : 5-6 that i had previously highlighted in my bible . God gave me the revelation of oneness . ' ONE LORD , ONE FAITH , ONE BAPTISM , ONE GOD AND FATHER OF ALL , WHO IS ABOVE ALL , AND THROUGH ALL ,AND IN YOU ALL !
JOHN 3:16 IS JUST ONE VERSE : YOU NEED TO READ ALL OF CHAPTER THREE TO UNDERSTAND JESUS' PLAN OF SALVATION !
    I was a believer from childhood but I wasn't saved .
THANK YOU FOR READING THIS !

    Salvation
By grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God
    - Ephesians 2:8
The faith through which we are saved is the free gift of God. Our salvation is not based on our good works, on our best efforts at religion, or on our foreseen faith (faith itself being the free gift of God). Salvation is of the Lord, and it is entirely based upon his sovereign grace.
Our faith, therefore, is not in faith, or in self, but rests in Jesus Christ alone as its perfect and glorious object. If our faith was in anything else it could be defeated, be deceived, or be derailed. Our good works come and go. Our spiritual zeal has its ups and downs. Even our faith waxes and wanes. But Christ's work is always sufficient.
What a joy grace is! If we could earn salvation, then we could lose salvation. If we could lose salvation, we would lose salvation (remember even perfect Adam lost his perfection). But because salvation is by grace, our faith in Jesus Christ will never be disappointed or dismantled. It is as secure as God himself can make it.
Walk in that faith today. Rest in that grace today. Work for that God today.

Get yourself a Bible and read through the whole New Testament. (Just like you would any other book verse by verse in context) Pray before you do for God to open your ears, heart, and mind to know Him by the power of His Holy Spirit. Learning about who Jesus is through His Word and who the Father is and Who the Spirit is and their love for you and the lengths they go through to reach you and save you in the scriptures in a great place to start to grow faith. Praying for your faith to grow! It only takes a mustard seed brother. Pray for God to bring you to a church of brothers and sisters who know and love and serve Him. He will do it

It's very simple. Trust Jesus to lead your life, your path, your heart. Admit your sins and repent from them. That's all you have to do to be saved. Pretty simple. Problem is, people would rather not believe than to give up their selfishness and stop doing what they're doing. So, instead, they get angry, decide to hate God or say the bible isn't real. It's your choice, but remember, there are extreme consequences for your choices.

Look at this form of "Salvation": Isaiah 49:6; And he said, it is a light thing that thou mayest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the ends of the earth. God is clearly going to do something good for us that we never expected. And this is because we have not been taught all of the facts concerning SALVATION. pastor Laurie should talk about this.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace ye are saved, through FAITH, and that not of yourselves, It is the GIFT of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. You can not boast in free. Romans 3:26-28 Where is boasting then? It is excluded, By what Law? By the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith, apart from the deeds of the law.
John 6:40 That ALL that seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life, and I WILL RAISE HIM UP ON THE LAST DAY.
Jesus came to save sinners. Romans 3:23 and Romans 3:10. Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him who justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord imputeth righteousness without works. Blessed is the man whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
The Gospel. First Corinthians 15:1-4 That Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures, that He was buried, and rose again on the third day, according to the scriptures
When we believe that gospel, we are sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise unto the day of redemption. Ephesians 1:13-14 Ephesians 4:30. Hebrews 13:5 He will never leave us or forsake us. He will never cast us out. John 6:37.
First John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that BELIEVE on the name of the Son of God, that ye may KNOW YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. John 10:28-29. You can not lose eternal life.

Do you know what the Ministry of reconciliation means?
It takes two for the process of reconciliation. God made the first step: He reconciled himself to the world. He would never reconcile himself to sin. So what did He do?
Christ paid the price for the sins of the whole world. That was the necessary atonement, directly followed by God forgiving the world all trespasses.
Today, sin is not imputed to anyone, ALL sin was put on Christ, buried with him. When Christ rose again, all sin stayed in his grave and is not ever to be re-imputed to anyone in this dispensation of Grace.
That's our good news of today the Gospel of our salvation: the work was finished on the cross, once and for all. Now sin is put out of the way between God and man. Hallelujah 🙏🙏🙏
Now it's your turn: be ye reconciled to God. Believe that all your sins were forgiven by God when Christ paid the price for every single sin.
This is salvation today: believe, your sins were completely forgiven on the cross when you were His enemy,as the sins of the whole world were paid and forgiven there.
Believing that, trusting in Christ alone is what saves you today. In this very moment, Christ's righteousness is imputed in your account, by His spirit you are baptized into Christ, sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption, eternal life and all spiritual blessings are yours, you are a new creature, a member of the church, the Body of Christ, your Destination is heavenly places.
Paul, our only apostle, did not say one single word in all his 13 epistles how to get your sins forgiven. Because salvation is to believe they already are.
This is our ministry, Ambassadors for Christ, ministers of reconciliation. Share the good news that God has forgiven all the worlds sin and is not imputing them, today is the day of salvation!
      Grace and peace 🙏 ❤️

Maybe.. If one really believes in god they would be able to move mountains. And I can cause I can see the mountain getting out of my face. If one put their faith in another good man on Earth maybe you wont see that mountain moving because we are all so very filled with sin so that the difference would be too small to notice. So faith is most effective when we believe god in truth through Jesus. And through J we can get real life Sin has been paid for everyone but not everyone will be redeemed.

    SALVATION TIMES 2
This may help to open your understanding on salvation. Most people think that there is one salvation but there are two. Both salvations are gifts from God First salvation is to be saved from DEATH which is the gift of life Rom 10:9. Once you are alive you are on the path WAY to eternal life. Once the body dies we will stand before Christ to be judged. Those who are ALIVE and on the narrow path WAY will be found in the Lambs book of life. That is salvation from ETERNAL DEATH/Hell as the Lord says Math 24:13. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

    Salvation Overview
In the doctrine of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the terms “saved” and “salvation” have various meanings. As used in Romans 10:9-10, the words “saved” and “salvation” signify a covenant relationship with Jesus Christ. Through this covenant relationship, followers of Christ are assured salvation from the eternal consequences of sin if they are obedient. “Salvation” and “saved” are also used in the scriptures in other contexts with several different meanings.
If someone were to ask if another person had been saved, the answer would depend on the sense in which the word is used. The answer might be “Yes” or perhaps it might be “Yes, but with conditions.” The following explanations outline six different meanings of the word salvation.
Salvation from Physical Death. All people eventually die. But through the Atonement and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, all people will be resurrected-saved from physical death. Paul testified, “As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive” (1 Corinthians 15:22). In this sense, everyone is saved, regardless of choices made during this life. This is a free gift from the Savior to all human beings.
Salvation from Sin. To be cleansed from sin through the Savior’s Atonement, an individual must exercise faith in Jesus Christ, repent, be baptized, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (see Acts 2:37-38). Those who have been baptized and have received the Holy Ghost through the proper priesthood authority have been conditionally saved from sin. In this sense, salvation is conditional, depending on an individual’s continuing in faithfulness, or enduring to the end in keeping the commandments of God (see 2 Peter 2:20-22).
Individuals cannot be saved in their sins; they cannot receive unconditional salvation simply by declaring a belief in Christ with the understanding that they will inevitably commit sins throughout the rest of their lives (see Alma 11:36-37). However, through the grace of God, all can be saved from their sins (see 2 Nephi 25:23; Helaman 5:10-11) as they repent and follow Jesus Christ.
Being Born Again. The principle of spiritual rebirth appears frequently in the scriptures. The New Testament contains Jesus’s teaching that everyone must be “born again” and that those who are not “born of water and of the Spirit … cannot enter into the kingdom of God” (John 3:5). This teaching is affirmed in the Book of Mormon: “All mankind, yea, men and women, all nations, kindreds, tongues and people, must be born again; yea, born of God, changed from their carnal and fallen state, to a state of righteousness, being redeemed of God, becoming his sons and daughters; and thus they become new creatures; and unless they do this, they can in nowise inherit the kingdom of God” (Mosiah 27:25-26).
This rebirth occurs as individuals are baptized and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. It comes as a result of a willingness “to enter into a covenant with our God to do his will, and to be obedient to his commandments in all things that he shall command us, all the remainder of our days” (Mosiah 5:5). Through this process, their “hearts are changed through faith on his name; therefore, [they] are born of him” (Mosiah 5:7). All who have truly repented, been baptized, have received the gift of the Holy Ghost, have made the covenant to take upon themselves the name of Jesus Christ, and have felt His influence in their lives, can say that they have been born again. That rebirth can be renewed each Sabbath when they partake of the sacrament.
Salvation from Ignorance. Many people live in a state of darkness, not knowing the light of the restored gospel. They are “only kept from the truth because they know not where to find it” (Doctrine and Covenants 123:12). Those who have a knowledge of God the Father, Jesus Christ, the purpose of life, the plan of salvation, and their eternal potential are saved from this condition. They follow the Savior, who declared, “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life” (John 8:12).
Salvation from the Second Death. The scriptures sometimes speak of salvation from the second death. The second death is the final spiritual death-being cut off from righteousness and denied a place in any kingdom of glory (see Alma 12:32; Doctrine and Covenants 88:24). This second death will not come until the Final Judgment, and it will come to only a few (see Doctrine and Covenants 76:31-37). Almost every person who has ever lived on the earth is assured salvation from the second death (see Doctrine and Covenants 76:40-45).
Eternal Life, or Exaltation. In the scriptures, the words saved and salvation often refer to eternal life, or exaltation (see Abraham 2:11). Eternal life is to know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and dwell with Them forever-to inherit a place in the highest degree of the celestial kingdom (see John 17:3; Doctrine and Covenants 131:1-4; 132:21-24). This exaltation requires that men receive the Melchizedek Priesthood, and that all Church members make and keep sacred covenants in the temple, including the covenant of eternal marriage. If the word salvation is used in this sense, no one is saved in mortality. That glorious gift comes only after the Final Judgment.

KJV First John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doeth not commit sin, for HIS SEED, Ephesians 1:13, remaineth in him, and He (the Holy Spirit) can not sin, because He is born of God. But we are still in the flesh. First John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we DECEIVE ourselves, and the TRUTH is not in us. The Spirit of God that lives in the believer can not sin. But we still do.
Romans 4:6-8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord imputes righteousness, without works. Blessed is the man whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. John 3:18 Believers are no longer condemned, but unbelievers are condemned already because they have not believed on the name of the Son of God. Our sin debt has been paid in full, the minute we trust Jesus as the only way of salvation by grace without works. Romans 4:5

As far as judging others, the Lord did say, we are to take the Log out of our own eye before we try to remove the splinter out of our brothers eye. We might be a worse sinner than he is. He may be humble because of his sin, and we may be prideful and self righteous because we believe we have no sin. First John 1:10

    Galatians 1:8
"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed."
The Apostles preached about the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.
Repentance, baptism in His Name, and the gift of the Holy Spirit are how we apply this to ourselves.
    Repentance = death to self.
Immersion in water in His Name = burial with Christ.
Gift of the Holy Spirit = new life.
Read and obey Acts 2:38 if you want to be saved.

The Lord payed the ultimate sacrifice for everyone's sins.
The plan of how to be saved is the same one all the apostles, including Paul preached." Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall recieve the Holy Spirit" ( Acts ch.2, 19 ).
Salvation is a free gift that we must recieve in order to be saved. The word " recieve" , in the N.T. original Greek means " to take hold of". There is nothing we can do to earn salvation but in order to be saved we must recieve the free gift by obeying the gospel plan of salvation.
All of Paul's letters were written to congregations already saved according to what he preached in Acts ch.19 and are not evangelistic letters but letters of further instruction to the saints. That it why each letter begins with, " to the saints of". "

@millionairenow15 Where does the Bible teach about saying a sinners prayer? The Bible says Yahuwah does not even hear the prayers of the sinners. The Bible teaches to repent of your crimes against the Law of God, then to call on the Name of Yah and the Name of Yahoshua ha Moshiach for Them to come to you and empower you to live righteous even as the God is righteous. The Law says to believe, trust, and obey the God. The criminals deserve to be exiled and cast out into outer darkness.
