we're on the same page here: my same ole stuffer failed last night.. any chance the tubing stuffers from old unit fits on the MEAT unit ? I started with your same electric smoker as well. recently moved to a PIT BOSS vertical series......good compliment to the "arts"
I haven't tried the old tubes on the MEAT! stuffer, but I held them up to see and it looked like it would work. It was not a perfect fit but I think tightened down properly it would. I saved them just in case.
I'm close to upgrading my smoker too. I haven't broken the news to my wife yet, but my current one is struggling to do the job. I may keep the shell for a cold smoking locker. I'll check out that Pit Boss, thanks for the tip and for watching.
@@thecarnivorecurmudgeon the electric one is good for smoking cheese and other low temps items. Keep it close! I took my old stuffing tubes and hit the bench grinder so they fit nice! I like the metal ones : they dont have the taper and are longer by a good amount !
@ten75k Agreed on the metal. My preference too. Gonna try them next time. Hoping to make some squirrel sausage if I can get enough of those critters to sit still before the end of the month
@@thecarnivorecurmudgeon How many u need me to send you !!!!! I’m in NC near the VA border! These rodents are like rodents here! Heck with the season!!!! I’m lovin that MEAT stuffer!!! I have their 1hp grinder and vacuum sealer !! (Deer harvesting).
Nice. I'm still using a 15 year old food saver. Works but on its last leg.
