Steamed Pork Belly & Garlic Shrimp
There is probably 10 easier ways to do this but I did my research and decided on this way.

My process for Steamed Pork Belly
Ingredients for boiling/braising
About 1lb of SKIN ON pork belly
2 quarts chicken stock
2 scallions
4 or 5 slices fresh ginger with skin on
3 or 4 bay leaves
3 cloves garlic with skin on
Put all above ingredients in a stock pot before heating on medium high until boiling
Once it is at a full boil, reduce to a low boil and heat for 30 minutes turning over several times.
Remove pot from heat and reserve liquid
Remove belly meat and poke ...

Our Place pans are known to be pricey. But are they good quality for the practical home cook. Here is my review after using them for a couple of months. fromourplace.com/ fromourplace.com/products/home-cook-duo-pro Notes on instructions.... Do not use spray oils in these pans. Do not start cooking on high, start on medium and adjust if necessary. Do not submerge hot pans in cold water.

What can be better than a nicely cooked pork loin, or perfectly crispy pork belly? Pork loin with pork belly together, with bacon! This is easy to make but takes a little time management but is worth the juicy, tender plate o' pork that results. And who doesn't love bacon crumbles? Every now and then you may want to change-up your standard burger recipe but how? Here is one way you might change the flavor profile without getting too wild. 1lb ground meat 1 egg 1tsp garlic powder 1tsp onion powder couple shakes of fish sauce 1 to 2 tsp of Worcestershire sauce Mix all ingredients and grill, fry, or bake burgers to desired doneness.

Thanks for the video, the key difference for me was zero withdrawal symptoms, physical or mental, not even within the first thirty days, after Steffon Barkload and what he suggested it's been 9 months now it's like it never was a problem, reading that last version goolging what he put up. Was a super relief I didn't need AA or meds either.

I'm glad they made it a medium/deep saute-style pan. I can use that thing for 80% of what I do in the kitchen.
I agree. I love how versatile it is. I have to admit the one thing I do not have great success with is eggs. The fried ones always seem to stick enough to break the yolk and the scrambled eggs always seem to stick to the bottom. I use different pans for these. I wish they would come out with one just like this that is 12 inches.

Zhizh is how you spell it. Or not. Maybe. I don't know. LOL Thanks for these! Love those little poached egg rounds and those egg meringues! A couple little tips that I've discovered along the carnivore way: For 2-3 eggs, use much smaller pan and a lesser amount of water - the eggs will still cook just fine. "Tumble" boiling eggs a couple times to re-center the yolks. Freeze an ice cube tray of tap water and add these cubes to a bowl of cold tap water to get the water _really_ frigid before dropping in your just-boiled eggs. The shells will then come off super easy! I did this when I would boil a week's worth of eggs for my work breakfasts and lunches. I have an always ready tray of "egg ice." Works like a champ!

I have not done this personally but understand you can freeze cooked pork belly. I would only freeze it once and consider warming it up gently so it doesn't become hard and unpalatable.

Great recipe and video. Thanks! I will say though that the pork belly right out of the oven and right after the deep fry stage tasted better than the final product. Also, I used salted butter and it was a little too salty. Next time I'll use unsalted since we're already salting the pork belly in the earlier stage. Or I'll skip the butter altogether. Thanks again for your content

Good video, but I would advise caution. Placing cooked slices of belly pork onto the same wooden cutting board that you previously place the raw pork is not a good idea. Any pathogen on that raw pork will be picked up by the cooked slices and eaten by you.

So, 425 for 40 min, then fry in a pan with it's own fat. Correct?
@eyesopen6110 if you like it softer stop after it's done in the oven. If you want it crispy, fry it after you take it out of the oven in it's own fat drippings.

Where do you find pork belly
I am able to buy it skin off at Walmart, but for skin on I go to an Asian market. Here we have an Hmart.
