last time i seriously kept up with smo strats was when nicro got subhour, maybe also a little after that (last one I remember is probably 2DSS or fish clip lol). the movement is crazy optimized now damn, especially the cap throws into walls and lava bounces. the "new" strats had a lot of moon clips but the coolest ones were probably skipping part of the bowser fight in cloud (i think), clipping out of mecha wriggler to get a moon, and swag hariet strats in bowser's. crazy how far the game has come ngl back when subhour was the goal that was crazy, cant believe we're cutting 5 minutes off of that (even tho the first subhour was on 1.0, close enough lol)

3:54 Tyron lives in mario odyssey, so the time is very inconsistent for him. sometimes in sand, after he got in a fight with a karen, it magically became nightime.
I think I found a time save in the ruin Dragon area. If you go to the very front of the dragon like up close to it, it makes the lightning bolt distance shorter and saves like a second or less.
Absolutely insane Tyron. You 100% without a doubt have more subs. Also, I think you should consider a tutorial on maze clip. I just want to try and get it once, but can't figure out how to do it, and there's like no resources on it at all. please help me out man.

I like how all the dozens of miniscule timesaves add up to many seconds to optimize these runs.
this is really the beauty of SMO most of the time save are in small micro optimisation rather than big glitch that save 20 sec
