I am not sure if it's only DLC because look at the theme of everything, the UI, the hunting horn buff on the ground, everything is very water/wave themed. So water will play an important role in this game I'd assume
@@jUppers if Capcom decide to make DLC is big they should consider bringing back underwater Combat cuz the core is already in the base game they just need to improve it
Around the 49:00 mark, you can see that only Yuya's version of Rey Dau has the enraged blue colors on it's body while the other three don't see the glowing blue at all. That just a current technical/sync issue for the developer streams? I'd imagine all players in a hunt would want to see any and all factors relevant to a monster being enraged.
36:00 I hope there are different art assets depending on the combination of food you get at the canteen. Small gripe but I do like watching the canteen animations before a hunt.
I actually saw in one of those streams a hunter eating either a fish or an actual cabbage instead of regular meat, so yeah, there will be a variety in the combination of food.
it would be sooooo cool if they added underwater combat in either the dlc for this game or the next game. it’s been absent for so long but i feel like it would just add so much to the possibilities for monster designs! the problem with underwater was the clunky controls and lack of real movesets for the weapons so i feel like they could absolutely improve on the entire system a lot in the modern age and it would be huge for the series as a whole
My biggest concern for the game was how it would play on ps5 especially with the hiccups of the re engine earlier this year with dragons dogma. I think its safe to say those worries can be put to rest. Im not an fps snob but the game at the very least looks like it plays smoothly on ps5.
So, day 4. Was there a real Interview yet with the devs? My biggest questions still are: Is it the same storymode system as in World? How many people fit in one hub / will there be a hub at all? I feel like the answers to these questions will disappoint me.
i hope not. i dont really like underwater combat even as a concept and personally i feel like it would take a lot of effort to nail it. effort id rather have spent elsewhere in the game
Is anybody else concerned about the huge amount of desync we have been seeing this whole time during these presentations? Target monsters are wearing rollerskates the entire time for the non-host players.
Is a demo, if anything, all of that is gonna get tackled and fixed by the time they release a public demo (like the one in world, rise etc) and the actual release.

Only things I wish we could see was some insect glaive and a more World style radial menu with 8 options and not just 4. Maybe an "advanced radial menu" with the 8 slots could be added as a toggleable option?
The good thing about being able to take two weapons on missions is: if one weapon breaks down and I need to keep hitting, I can use another of the same weapon and keep doing it.
I need a release date I’m itching for this game man been playing this since ps2 and psp
Sadly I have came to conclusion with how rocky this demo is and how they have said they had to rush this for gamescon to have stuff to show I don’t think they’d be ready for the TGS but I think that they’ll do something for this years game awards
Leaks have shown for a march release
@MintConsumer i need them to show the flagship
@@MintConsumerI was really hoping for January like monster hunter world.
@@dantegarcia3852 I know man me too but I dunno I’m feeling it deep in my bones that it will be either January or march and a demo will be out 1-2 months before either release date I mentioned
Alma's gonna let us know if there's a severed tail nearby? I love our new handler already.
Not to mention she bad 😏
26:00 The map looks so much more dynamic this time. Like there are players and things all over the map doing stuff.
One thing i noticed before is whenever someone carved they got lets say “Hide+” which usually means thats from High Rank. So the demo is naturally in high rank or maybe there’s a different loot system
55:48 we have a special crosshair when using spread ammo?
36:00 Kaname Fujioka on the top left is my spirit animal with swapping R1 and R2 and turning off focus aiming 😄
Attacking with an analog trigger always felt weird to me so I'm glad one of the devs thinks the same!
No wonder they added a setting as specific as that lol
Game looks amazing. Please bring back the underwater fights !! 😭
this franchise is so magical. you can see the laughter and joy coming from the devs themselves while playing their own game. im glad to be a part of the experience.
13:57 for anyone that wasn't here for the live.
30:29- Okay, so each has fallow and plenty. We're really leaning into themes of life and death with the environment itself this time.
31:00 That hunting horn is bad ass.
I hope they release the same demo they got to play at Gamescom for the world soon, So it can sate my gameless year as no games interest me atm....
Same, i need to see if my rig can handle MH Wilds.
My guess is this December we will get the demo
@@DavyDavePapiI agree look like the having crashing issues on Ps5. So I can only imagine Xbox series s. I hoping for November/December demo
The demo will be available at PAX West next on 8/30. Worldwide demo release will probably depend on when during 2025 Q1 they are releasing
They need to bring back the underwater combat like they did in Monster Hunter Tri ultimate for the Wii
HOW DARE THEY. THEY GIVE ME SWIMMING BUT NO ATTACK. AHHHHHHHHHH 1:33:57
Only joking. I would love underwater combat back but I know the MH developers never miss.
@@shehansoysa571 they actually miss, but they learn at each misses. But I really believe that they're working on water combat, but they already said that water combat it's complicated, hell, probably they didn't had enough time to add it in this game yet lol
1:33:16 Waterborne expansion PLEASE
I love Rey Dau’s sfx and music! It’s both haunting and nice to listen to.
50:50
this monster hunter will be the peak Fashion Porn in the series. the detail these armor sets have is truly next-gen
it was so sweet of Ryozo-san to give some gifts to the fans! but i wonder, what was it that he gave them? a small figure?
41:02 LS IS GONNA BE CRAZY
So interesting seeing Western and Eastern styles of Monster Hunting gameplay. Ruhikan was right when he said that a lot of Japanese folk will be using focus mode.
cant wait to play this, please please please release the gamescom demo for the players in steam and other platforms
oh thank GOD the notes on the hunting horn are like old gen/World
But, we hear them as we swing like in Rise. Best of both worlds.
@@Mare_ManThat’s not new.
I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE MONSTER HUNTER TEAM HAS BEEN ABSOLUTELY KILLING IT !!!!!
1:33:16 POTENTIAL UNDERWATER COMBAT FOR DLC, PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN
I am not sure if it's only DLC because look at the theme of everything, the UI, the hunting horn buff on the ground, everything is very water/wave themed. So water will play an important role in this game I'd assume
@@jUppers 1:34:10 exists, but you can still hope ig
@@jUppers if Capcom decide to make DLC is big they should consider bringing back underwater Combat cuz the core is already in the base game they just need to improve it
THIS IS A EXACT REACTION EVERYONE HAD TO THAT ONE SPOT IN THE ANCIENT FOREST!!! I remember thinking the same thing but I won't get my hopes up...
I don't think it'll happen in a DLC, but I'm happy if they prove me wrong.
Seeing some model physics issues, animation latency (rubberbanding), and frozen states. Hope they work on that before release.
Most certainly a bug.
this demo seems held together by tape considering that it crashed twice this time, so I assume so
36:00 I hope there are different art assets depending on the combination of food you get at the canteen. Small gripe but I do like watching the canteen animations before a hunt.
I actually saw in one of those streams a hunter eating either a fish or an actual cabbage instead of regular meat, so yeah, there will be a variety in the combination of food.
39:47 best part😂😂
Bow and Dual Blades eating gooood,
also demo for steam when???
I do hope sincerely that they don't take away the connected arial attacks for IG completely!
Can you please allow to customize the seikret ?! 🙏🏾
it would be sooooo cool if they added underwater combat in either the dlc for this game or the next game. it’s been absent for so long but i feel like it would just add so much to the possibilities for monster designs! the problem with underwater was the clunky controls and lack of real movesets for the weapons so i feel like they could absolutely improve on the entire system a lot in the modern age and it would be huge for the series as a whole
16:30 Oh crap! Crossplay! Now I have to buy two copies, one for my nephew so we can play couch coop.
Crossplay was actually confirmed 2 months ago when the second trailer came out. Still good to know that it's going to be true, either way.
My biggest concern for the game was how it would play on ps5 especially with the hiccups of the re engine earlier this year with dragons dogma.
I think its safe to say those worries can be put to rest.
Im not an fps snob but the game at the very least looks like it plays smoothly on ps5.
For me and all the 5 hunting horn users 1:35:50
So, day 4.
Was there a real Interview yet with the devs?
My biggest questions still are:
Is it the same storymode system as in World?
How many people fit in one hub / will there be a hub at all?
I feel like the answers to these questions will disappoint me.
OMG LOOK AT THAT NEW LANCE MOVE!!!!
LANCE BROS WE ARE SO BACK!!!
25:36
Ryozo-san is top-level troll as always. Love to see it!
1:33:00 I think this is possible forshadowing what will be in the DLC if they manage to get underwater combat right :)
i hope not. i dont really like underwater combat even as a concept and personally i feel like it would take a lot of effort to nail it. effort id rather have spent elsewhere in the game
20:59, gameplay so cool even the PlayStation couldn't handle it.
1:39:02 THE MUSICCCC
Video starts at 17:38
They should add accel axe to wilds I love useing a axe but I’m stuck with switch axe which I don’t mind but it be cool to see accel axe again
I really hope we see some gameplay in the Scarlet Forest as well before gamescom is over
This was the last day for it so unfortunately not. Probably at the VGAs we'll see a bigger reveal with hopefully the flagship monster.
1:33:17 水中探索
1:33:10 did anyone notice the underwater part?
Do we know if we will be able to customize the raptor mount?
It would be cool if you could change the colors of the feathers and add armor to the Seikret like on the Palamutes.
@@gavincole3359 Yes that was confirmed before Gamescom. Though we have only seen colours so far on other ones in game
Really like how they gave hunting horn some spotlight in here. And as always long sword is cracked out and I am not complaining.
So our friends can join us and play the story together and regular hunts right?
Is anybody else concerned about the huge amount of desync we have been seeing this whole time during these presentations? Target monsters are wearing rollerskates the entire time for the non-host players.
Is a demo, if anything, all of that is gonna get tackled and fixed by the time they release a public demo (like the one in world, rise etc) and the actual release.
Mot really, atm. We will see will that issue be addressed when they release demo to the public. If not - it will be concerning i think.
40:00 The camp...what happened to the camp? You can fight anywhere on the map with the monster now???
The camp can be destroyed by monster, it has been confirmed
Skill up was def going crazy in the crowd
The only thing i wanna know when do we get a demo on steam etc.
If the game launches in January then we'll get a demo in November but if the game launches in March then we'll get a demo in January. It's always a about 1-2 months before launch to build hype.
