I actually didn't think I would watch this entire video but she is just so mesmerizing when she speaks. She actually succeeded in keeping 21 minutes and 44 seconds of my full attention (which rarely happens because of my ADD). Either way, I find it so fascinating how every word that came out of her mouth succeeded in touching my heart. I can only imagine how beautifully complex her mind is for being able to create such a speech. If you're reading this Troian, I just want to say thank you. Thank you so much for motivating me beyond expectation and basically validating my dream to be an actress. I sometimes have those days when I question weather or not I should follow this road to my dreams. But one should never question their heart's desires. And I just want to thank you so much for immensely touching me with your words of wisdom. You deserve all of the success in the world. :)
I do agree, those 21 minutes just flew by. Have seen variations of T's work & a lot of interviews & she do got that "something" that makes you wanna hear & see more. I rarely read comments on YT that "makes sense" but yours truly did. As a storyteller myself this speech really did mean something:)

I love how she explained all of the different things the graduates will do, and how they are, "telling stories." Dang it, I was crying! I myself want to screen write and write for shows. So this has helped me to look at with it with a new set of eyes.

I am a horrible person because I always thought what was so great about actors. I always said it was easy lazy people work. If babies like Olsens can do it or Jersey Shore idiots are on TV and getting famous how hard or difficult or respectable can it be? Hearing her speech made me realize just how wrong am I even though my facts are right. People like the Olsen twins are the exceptions and I am truly sorry for comparing anyone who dreams of being an actor to such idiots. Don't listen to ignorant people like me because one day we will learn (like today I did) and anyway what's so great about us. May your dreams materialize.
