More than just the tone of the voice, how do you start to develop your own voice personality, Maynard JK sounds like a shaman, Chris Cornell sounds like a prophet, etc
Your problem is probably the range of your voice are not fit to what you're trying to sing. you can try to lowering down the key of the song that way you can sing it in your vocal range
Can you please react to Mamamoo 🥺. Some songs I would recommend are: Maybe wind flower, I miss you, Aya, Travel, Hip, and Piano man (really old). Hope you like them ❤️
