be diphrent Respectfully disagree. Some people just aren’t exposed to opportunities to learn/experiment certain things when young. Granted someone with natural talent maybe be able make progress in a drastically shorter time frame and/or has a higher level of ability to begin with. Some things may be destined or not, but everyone has a learning curve and can improve.
*opportunities have nothing to do with soul. singing is always directly attached to ones soul. that’s where the talent is derived from. if you’re not born with soul, you can not be taught to have soul. hence why no matter how much training this man has received, he is still 100% emotionless. like I said, he’s still average, but TRAINED, so better than the AVERAGE, average. but still average in terms of real, hardcore talent. it’s nice that those of you who can’t sing get inspired by this, but I guarantee 9/10 people who weren’t born with being able to naturally sing will NEVER create a career or talent out of singing & that’s a FACT!!!!! ever heard of a famous singer who said ; “well actually I’ve never sang growing up & even was horrible, but I got training for 20 years & here I am!” No, they all share how passionate they were & talented they were from a very young age with moments that validated their talent.*

For so many people the desire to sing is powerful but the 'how to get there' is such a mystery. What I think this video really highlights is that it is not one thing (voice lessons, daily practice, training your ear) but it is everything practiced regularly for years. It is tough especially for an adult learner when you're like "wow I always wanted to sing but I waited until I was 30 to invest the time!" it just means your 40's are going to be full of you singing awesome. Thanks for the inspiration to keep going.

Thank you so much for allowing me to see your transformation. You sound really good. I am so touched by your devotion 🙏✨
You started breaking the singing curve by 2011. Good on you for hanging in there. The harmony on 3:46 was flawless and gives you cred to be a backup singer.
KMS Practice doesn't make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect. Get yourself a vocal trainer; Sure, you've got the pipes(and maybe the range), but you've gotta tune them for the organ sound decent. A trainer with regular sessions would be best.
He had the confidence to sing at the beginning. Kids on tv are like 6 with the confidence of 10 presidents. And I have the confidence of a nocturnal, underground worm hiding in a dead slug's shell for the last 30+ years.
Courage is doing something despite the fear present. Confidence is trust in yourself that you will do your best to achieve whatever you're doing. Developing a lack of confidence as we age is pretty normal considering how judgemental our culture is, especially for something as vulnerable as singing. So when criticized or called out, we take it personally and that diminishes our confidence, or the trust we have in ourselves to do well. Just gotta rip the bandaid of fear off until courage becomes confidence!
I study art. some people without talent can actually draw pretty well. When we are born with talent, we'll learn everything faster than others. But with passion, we can make change. I admire you
I can relate to his progression, some people are not natural singers, it has taken me about the same 10 years to improve decently and when I first started trying to sing and play guitar at the same time the singing part sounded bad. I kept some recordings just to monitor progression. So I figured I may as well keep trying for fun and not put a time limit on when I should suddenly start sounding good. Partially because I already had played a guitar for 20 years so had a head start on that musical instrument. Then realized our voice is every bit as much a musical instrument we must master with tune and timing. It helps a lot to record yourself then play it back and fine tune the smoothness of note transition so it doesn't sound so jumpy and sketchy. I also found I sounded much better at a song I had practiced 100 times vs one I was just learning and maybe only sung 5 times. A song will likely need to be practiced and rehearsed over and over before it becomes smooth and natural. So it could take 1 year or 10 years. But anybody can improve.
I've tried many teachers, some are good, some are actually harmful. Bit I've NEVER met anyone as great as marnel sample. He had my voice about twice as good and strong in just a few weeks!!! I literally started getting comments from people asking "hey how did u suddenly get that voice power?" He is simply so passionate and committed to every voice as a unique project. He builds up ur natural strengths to higher potential than you ever imagined. And before you know it your voice is suddenly more strong and powerful than you ever imagined
This is important to see. Until recently, I would give up on most things I wasn’t immediately good at, not realizing that the people good at those things likely worked at it
This encourages me to sing, I've always wished I could but never had that natural talent... but with vocal training and prayer I will get better day by day year by year :) Thank you for recording your process!

I must be belonging to the 1% then. But certainly, as you become better, you will also start to look at all aspects of your presentation. Looks and dressing, as well as a reasonable sound and video system, are part of that. For the viewers you can't blame them for prefering a more sophisticated presentation over just a random guy in a t-shirt and a webcam. This actually left me really inspired. Since I was young I really wanted to sing but my voice in not even near your starting voice. Still I’m gonna try to get a year of everyday practice. I will update y’all on here. Day 1: I recorded myself when I sung one of favorite songs. This way I can go listen back and hear my progress. I’m also researching on warming up my vocals and I downloaded but also deleted some apps. I’m gonna try to get 30 minutes of practice a day done. My voice hurts though, after a one song my throat really hurts. Maybe warming it up will get rid of that problem. Day 2: my throat still hurts very bad when is sing even though I warmed it up. I sing a lot today but I didn't film it. So imma film again tomorrow. If anyone has some tips for my throat it would be really helpful. Day 3: I sung again for 30 minutes with warming up my voice and it actually was better today. My throat hurts less and for me it actually sounded less bad. Haha I’ll update you guys tomorrow.. Day 4: today I tried to sing Adore You by Harry Styles since I'm such a fan of him but my throat felt awful afterwards. I don't know what it is, maybe because I sang wrong? I'm gonna do research on that. Still I'm not really improving but who would in only four days. See ya all tomorrow Day 5: I didn’t sing today because I thought my voice could really use a rest. Day 6: I’m gonna do some singing exercises instead of just singing my songs. day 12: We are now on day 12 and i've really found motivation. When i sung today my throat really didn't hurt that much. I'm super happy because i think i finally found the right tone. My inspiration really came from Ed Sheeran since i heard he really needed practice. Than also Harry Styles id amazing, his songs really help me sing hole days. Like wow i didn't know i could sing so much. School is starting soon for me, i hope i find the time to sing than. Sorry for not updating that much.. Day 19: Now we are on day 19 i'm singing 6 songs a day. Today i sang them and i think we are getting better. It still doesn't sound anywhere near good but it takes time. My throat starts to hurt after 5 songs but thats because i still can't seem to sing in my range or not completly at least. I'm glad i didn't stop but now school starts i don't have so much time. So i'm gonna update y'all once a week. So we’re almost 2 months further now. We’ve been singing non-stop, it’s hard to find the time tho. But, i can hear my improving and i still have motivation. I’ve been also learning the guitar and i’ve been writing some lyrics Soooo an update real quick, singing hasn’t been going so well. My thoat keeps hurting, but i’ll be getting some more exercises done on sole different stuff. My singing lessons start in september so thats great. Guitar and piano has been going so well though! I’m very proud! I’ve been singing and playing for six months now and i know it’s only the beginning from my journey. My mother and sister aren’t really supportive but, it’ll be alright :) Hope i can update you guys soon!
The thing people forget is that singing is also a learned skill and takes practice. For some people it may be natural, but for us normal people, we have to work twice as hard.
It's never natural. Singing wouldn't have helped in survival. Some people have voices that sound good and then become even better when they learn the techniques and some people have voices that don't sound good until they learn how to sing properly.

be diphrent Respectfully disagree.

This video is the last push I needed to start taking classes. Thanks for sharing. Your progress is amazing 🤯

ClassicSpider you got me there lmao 😂
I can hear what I see though.
Actually I think 98% hears the singing transformation and 95% sees his beauty transformation.
Overall I think working on your presentation for most men and many women is a good idea. Some people take it to far and become narcistic, like a beautiful presentation but no content, which is a shame. So I hope he will use his new voice in positive way to improve communication, empathy, understanding and enthousiasm between people.

Just few days ago i said to my coworker that how cool it would be to be BORN with ability to sing. Now that i watched your video and learnt that it is trainable skill, i just might start taking lessons.
See ya all tomorrow
Day 5: I didn’t sing today because I thought my voice could really use a rest.
I’ve been also learning the guitar and i’ve been writing some lyrics
Soooo an update real quick, singing hasn’t been going so well. My thoat keeps hurting, but i’ll be getting some more exercises done on sole different stuff. My singing lessons start in september so thats great. Guitar and piano has been going so well though! I’m very proud! I’ve been singing and playing for six months now and i know it’s only the beginning from my journey. My mother and sister aren’t really supportive but, it’ll be alright :)
Hope i can update you guys soon!

The thing people forget is that singing is also a learned skill and takes practice. For some people it may be natural, but for us normal people, we have to work twice as hard.
Most importantly its also about how much music ur surrounded by and if u grew up in a musical family thats makes you naturally decent
Tex Toad exactly true! Working mine too. To become a better singer
It's never natural. Singing wouldn't have helped in survival. Some people have voices that sound good and then become even better when they learn the techniques and some people have voices that don't sound good until they learn how to sing properly.
