Nice trail. Loved the swamp, Spanish moss, domesticated animals. I never heard of this trail and Thanks for sharing. Looking good on subscribers, I can see you’re becoming more well known. Keep biking the trails.
Thank you for posting the title of the music and the artist you used in your video! You have some great taste in the music and we love finding new artists that we have not been exposed to. 😊 Your video’s have substantially increased the length of our trail riding bucket list!
Loved the critters and country scenes. The train though? I would not have the patience but then who knew any train would be that long? Let alone two? Always enjoy the history and music too. Thanks Scott! Congrats on over 2K. 👍
Great video as always! A lot of memories for me in that town. I will send you message to tell you about them. But that pizza place isn’t bad either. The Baldwin train is notorious! Lol
Do that...would be interested to hear about it. Yeah, the train must hold cars up as well. The First Baptist Church had this on their sign: "Held up by the train? Take time to pray!" :)
Great camera work, editing, music, all that stuff, and your sense of humor is even more warped than mine, which is really saying something. Thanks for the fun.😆
Great job as always Scott. You had me hooked from the moment you said a lengthy ride. You did miss a good opportunity on your video work though. I would have loved to see you climb in a saddle on that pig outside that store. Come on man stop missing these things. Lol enjoy your week.
Nice Trail👍.. good review.. 3 Stars seems right.. probably could have been 4 Stars if it wasn’t for a hour train 🚂 Delay 😕.. lack of Scenery hurt this trail 😎🚴♂️
😂 Well… what can I say, I had a great time that day anyway! According to some of the reports I hear, it’s anybody’s guess as to whether you’re going to get detained by the train. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn’t. 😂🤷♂️
Another great vid Scott. Your channel is gonna blow up, just keep doing what you're doing. Break 19 I need some buckshot 😂. We rode this trail about 20 years ago and I nicknamed it the *ine" trail for equine, bovine and swine. The smells were actually distinguishable in zones. I'm going to send you some spandex bro you're obviously jelly
I really enjoy your videos. Entertaining and informative. I just bought a 360 camera and some accessories. I'm looking forward to hitting the trail on my e-bike. That's what you do when you're 70. Keep em coming.🚲🚲🚲
Agree 100% with your assessment of JBT. Couple of notes for those considering riding it: Saturday mornings - be ready to ride fast or be passed constantly (and most don’t give the courtesy “on ur left”), June brings yellow flies - so don’t wear dark clothing, also a ParkRun will be starting June 2024 in the middle section (Halsema Trailhead). ParKRun is a free weekly 5k that will happen Saturday mornings at 7:30 (it may slow down the go fast crowd) Luv ur videos.
No, I've not yet been on any Florida trails down further south than the JAX area. I live in South Carolina, so it's a bit of a haul. Would love to explore more in Florida, however. BTW, the "aerial" or drone-like shots are accomplished with a 360 camera on a 9 ft tall extendable "selfie" stick. I hold it in one hand and steer with the other!
You're welcome. I didn't even notice the absence of a police station or headquarters when I was there. I learned that fact on the internet afterward. Thanks for watching!
@@joyfultrails Yeah, I live on top of a plateau, with no RR tracks. But in the valley, the school buses get stuck behind a train about once per week. I hear them calling on the radio while I am driving my route and always wonder if there isn’t someway the train company couldn’t send out a schedule to the schools? 🤷🏻♂️
Sorry you had bad luck with the train. I have ridden that trail over 100 times and didn't know the rail lines were still in use as I have never seen a train!
An hour long train? I'm surprised that some smart food truck guy hasn't set up at the time the train goes by and sells food and drinks to the waiting cyclists.
Great idea! Because apparently it happens a lot. It happened to our friend Thomas who has the “Follow Thomas” RUclips channel. And it happens so much even to the cars in town that the First Baptist Church had this on their sign: “Held up by the train? Take time to pray!”
E bikers yield to cyclists??? What the hell?? Spandex dudes go faster than us. That is not fair at all. Seems to me that e bikers get shafted in that trail.
I would not have been the umpatient guy going around the train, but the guy going through the train. If that train is there for fourty-plus minutes, sorry not sorry. Its an unreasonable imposition. Two guys its safe enough. One guy hand off the bikes, the other receives them on the other side.
Well, what I did not disclose in the video was that Zi made use of the time to go back and shoot additional b-roll footage for the video. I couldn’t have just stood there the whole time.
Oh…. Also LOVED the Mac Jones insert! From a skinny freshman to a National Champion QB & Heisman finalist! Let’s Go! Roll Tide indeed! 😁🐘💪🏻😎
You know it. RTR! 🏈

Awesome, that’s good to hear. Thank you for watching. 🙂
Great video as usual! Loved Cara Ranier accompaniment song!
Loved the critters and country scenes. The train though? I would not have the patience but then who knew any train would be that long? Let alone two? Always enjoy the history and music too. Thanks Scott! Congrats on over 2K. 👍
Thanks! Maybe local people have more of a schedule figured out on the trains… But I wasn’t local! 😂
Another excellent video!
Thanks!

Warped?! I resemble that remark! 😂 Thanks for the kind words. And for watching.
Good stuff. Baldwin looks like my kinda town!

Agreed. Pretty much a straight line for 15 miles! 😮
This happened to FollowThomas. I rode this in December and I was lucky, I missed it!!
Yep! I saw his video just a few days ago! So apparently it’s just a crap shoot…
Another good one. Thanks.
Nice work Scott . Love the content and the narration.
Thanks!
Live near here and do the trail once or twice a week. Hour at that crossing is next level bad luck ! Wow

@@joyfultrails thank you for doing this I took this Trail for granted but your video gave me a whole new appreciation
I'll have to head back out there. It's been a few years now, but I used to ride out there every weekend. Thanks for the review!
Another great vid Scott. Your channel is gonna blow up, just keep doing what you're doing.

I just found this video. You were in my neck of the woods a couple of months ago. Well done video, awesome 💯
Yes! Your videos actually inspired me to ride that trail. I enjoyed my day there.
Love the footage! You’ll always be my choice for capturing something right the FIRST time! You’re blessed with an eye that very few possess!
It is three years we are living in Jacksonville and going to that trail, but I didn’t know so many interesting facts about the area. Thank you.
Happy to help! Thanks for watching 🙂

You make excellent videos for those of us who love to ride the trails. Keep them coming!
Thanks, will do! Thank you for watching.
Nice trail. Your videos an scenery is the best. Thanks for sharing the adventures.
Have you rode the legacy trail in venice Fl to Sarasota? New to the channel like how you did the arial views.

After living in Charleston for six years, I can really appreciate a good swamp! If I ever get around to going to Jacksonville will have to check out!
Thank you for featuring my home town (Jacksonville) Baldwin dissolved it's police department in the early 2000

Nice video! I've biked that trail a bunch of times.
Cool! Yeah, it was a nice way to spend a day.
Looked like a great trail, but crummy timing on the train!
Yeah… I bet local people have the train schedule figured out. But I had no idea…

Great video. Thanks for sharing. LeRoy Butler is another Jacksonville great.
Thanks! I'll have to check him out...
Love your videos. Even though you are a Bama fan! #Go Dawgs
Well, you won’t have Coach Saban to kick around anymore 😂 Alabama fans are nervously anxious for football season to start…

Thanks 👍
Sorry you had bad luck with the train. I have ridden that trail over 100 times and didn't know the rail lines were still in use as I have never seen a train!
Wow! I’ve heard from lots of people who have been held up by the trains…so consider yourself blessed! 😬
Great video 👏👏👏👏
We got stuck at the RR crossing also. About 15 minutes
From what I understand that’s a pretty common thing down there…
Worth more than three stars
Do you know where to find a train schedule? Or if they even have one?
I do not. But if I lived there - or even close to there - I would try to find out!
And one star each for the weird waffle and for the lethargic, time killing train.
just avoid the 11-ish o'clock time and you miss the train. The trail is nice in the summer with the tree coverage.
Good to know! I should go back at a different time of year. I was there in late December.
So I guess you not only need to check the weather before riding this trail, but the train schedule too... 😂
Apparently so! 😂
It’s E-Bikes or Acoustic Bikes! 👍🏻🚴
I like it!
One cool benefit for frequent visitors is seeing every type poisonous snake in the state!
😳

Papa Seans is the place to eat when going through Baldwin

I once convinced my cousin that Baldwin was named after Alec Baldwin
@@jcsadventures8975 😂😂😂 That’s hilarious
@joyfultrails ive lived here my whole life and have never done that trail. That changes tomorrow
