This could have been dynamic without using macros... Like you can mention scores range in separate cells and give cell references instead of mentioning upper and lower levels in formula itself.
And, There are 2 other methods apart from countifs.
1. you can use pivot table by grouping the range.
2. You can also use vlookup with true

You're welcome. Depending on the keyboard, you may need to press, or press and hold, the Fn key as you press F4. Also, make sure your cursor is amongst the cell reference you want to insert the $.

Sure. You would need to hardcode logical operators such as ">="&B4. Unless you write those symbols in the cell also.

Sounds like formatting. You can change the number format to General or whatever is needed.
How are you copying and pasting the equation to the other cells? I can't figure it out and have just copied and pasted each individually.
Click and drag using the small square in the bottom right of the cell. Thd mouse cursor changes from a large white cross to a small black cross when its ready to drag.

If you're on a Windows machine, F$ will work but you may need to press the Fn key at the same time, or before to turn it on. It depends on the keyboard.

Yes, absolutely. The FREQUENCY function is improved in Excel 365, now that is can handle arrays.

It will still be the F4 key, but it sounds like you need to press the Fn key at the same time. The F4 key has dual purpose.

Depends on your keyboard, but you may need to press the function key, probably labelled 'Fn' on the keyboard as you press F4.
This method is tedious and works only for a limited no of data as you have to enter the range in the "countifs" function each time.Excel has an already in-built function for creating frequency distributions which is much easier
It certainly is now in the modern versions if you are referring to the FREQUENCY function Soudip.
This video was shot in 2014 and FREQUENCY is an array function which was not nice back then.

Ouch! These are just typed in and formatted my friend. Nothing special going on there. Just some made up frequencies for demonstration and manually typed.
