I thought I was the one that was messing up or not good enough. I couldn’t understand for the life of me, how could he see me cry and not want to comfort me, how could he not understand me or be gentle with me when he spoke or apologize for his behaviors so we can get on the same page.

I definitely had to learned who I picked vs who God picked. Just because who I picked doesn't meant that is who God picked. I want who God picked for me, cause I know who he picked is going to match my energy.

@@lifewithlexi57 this is not what the typical Christian response is but in all honesty, you need to pray about it but if he’s a counterfeit, God did not join you together. You need to then pray and prioritize if this person is hindering you to complete God’s will for you or not. I married my counterfeit and spent 21 years thinking divorce would be the worst thing but last year after 21 of my devotion, he divorced me to leave for another woman and I can tell you God alone wanted me to be divorced and free of that marriage because I am able to complete his will on this earth. If I were you, I would draw closer to God than ever in my life and decipher what you’re called to do. Don’t make a rushed decision or say divorce is wrong or right. The closer you draw to God and ask him for your purpose and what is your path to that purpose, your answers will slowly fall into place.

The marriage is draining me and I was done .. but our baby was born last month, so of course that brought about a lot of emotions and second guessing lol . But I did decide it's best to deal with the temporary pain of letting go, rather than the continual pain and everything else that came with holding on. Hi there! I just wanted to offer a different interpretation of the divorce scripture. Some people interpret this as God arranging your marriage. If God arranged a marriage between you and someone, then you shall not separate. Unfortunately sometimes people marry the person that God DID NOT place them with, but the counterfeit instead. Sarah Jakes Roberts husband names Touree explained this as why he divorced and later remarried Sarah. He said God didn’t put him together with the person he first married. Seek God first and ask Him what you should do 💛 !!
