Adjustable gas block will fix a lot of that felt recoil. And it will help you get the gassing right to stop the failure to eject and cycle the next round.
Agreed but be careful as changes in altitude and humidity greatly affect the rifle functioning when the adjustable gas block is “fine tuned.” Mine shizzed the bed when I took it from southwest florida to Gunsite in Arizona.

Thank you for making this video, Im current military and though i shoot M4s and M249s (every 6 months) i still am very wet around the ears when it comes to knowing the ins and outs of building my own weapon. I knew wanted to do a 300 blackout for my first build and this gave me major inspiration. Bless!
The subs are definitely more smoother than the subsonic grain, I can literally see less recoil as you shoot. I finished my AR build in April after buying my lower in 2016 before the mandatory AR laws took effect. I wish I could add a suppressor to my build, but here in California our gun laws are the strictest in the country. I did add to my build the Monstrum Red dot sight 3X magnifier with a flip to side mount combo. I’m proud of this build too, for it being my first project built from scratch. Consider adding the magnifier to bring the target closer to you @Summer Shoots 📌

I just saw Honest Outlaw having a bunch of fte and ftf issues with a PSA .300 pistol as well. For my build I’ll probably grab one of their lowers but get the upper from somewhere else

You have every right to be proud of yourself that gun is nice ❤... I'm looking to do myself the right build for me. But I'm in Chicago so I gotta wait to see if they lift this stupid AR ban lol
Supers are meant to be ran unsuppressed its a lighter weight vs subs which are heavier. Its looks like with the supers your ejection was at the 2oclock which means its under gassed which would also be why you got those failures... Try a lighter buffer like a H or H1.
Yo hornady 208 grains are terrible. They caused numerous malfunctions, go up to the 220 grains. You won’t have any issues. Also, you need to time your spring and buffer to run both subs and supers. Run a carbide spring and buffer. Try that and see if it locks back on subs.

Also ur buffer can help by using different weights
@@redmule02yup, the wrong buffer with that suppressor also.
I put Superlative Arms adjustable gas blocks on my 300 BO builds. Much easier to adjust and get that sweet spot for both subs and supers

I ended up going with a 10" because I wanted as much velocity as I could get out of subsonic without having my gun to long. I really like your set up.
