Got an '81 R100. What are your thoughts on ideal exhaust? Hoske? Looking to upgrade my stock exhaust. Great vid.
With the previous R builds I only did other exhaust tips, nut on this bike it will be all new everything 👌🏼
Like these vids man, BUT ,why would you coat an mechanical part which will be in hot oil and open to a lot of friction! Not only unnecessary, but unwise! There goes your new oil filter!
With the mechanical part you mean the flywheel? There's no hot oil that will come to that and the only friction will come from the startermotor. It will be more than fine 👍🏼

@peterdocter4659 The Cerakote is robust and could handle a punch, but when it would flake off I can fall out underneath the gearbox, there's a substantial opening
