Man that Integra gets better mileage than most hybrid's nowadays! This was a fun video to watch Que humor was on point all throughout the video lol I think I might be getting a Teggy soon as well 😎👀
I got excited when I saw this video! I just did my first ever “hyper-mileing” drive in this car the other day and I got 56mpg. I was shocked I got this good. I got pics to prove it 😏😁
@@QueTheChaotic i fluctuate my speed quite a bit, when it’s safe and sensible to do so. It’s kinda what big trucks do, let gravity pull you down a hill and allow yourself to slowly decelerate as you go up a hill. There’s a bit more to it than that, like how to tackle flat ground, but that’s where to begin.
i was doing 72 mph constant with the radar cruise+lane keep going up and down hills on the highway and was getting easily 42mpg these cars are sooo great on the freeway!
Noticed you had your heads up display on. I tried the heads up display on my Integra and didn’t like it. Turned it off and never use it ! It can be a expensive feature on some cars but I just don’t see paying for it. To each their own though. I’m taking my Integra on its first road trip in June. I’ve never been out of city traffic with it before. Interested to see the gas mileage on the freeway. I get around 30 mpg driving in town.
Problem with using CC on some cars is depending on speed, if the road is hilly, it can start hunting gears on auto trans. My Mazda CX5 at 55 on a hilly road will go from 6th down to 4th to get over hills, which KILLS the MPG. If I just gain some momentum on the downhill and then bleed off that momentum on the uphills, keeping throttle position about constant, MPG is way better. At 75 it doesn’t have to downshift to get over hills due to higher RPM. My 3rd gen Integra GSR at 3500 rpm on the highway doesn’t have that problem since the RPM is so high. 😂😂 but I can still average 35 mpg in that car and get 400 miles on a tank.
@@QueTheChaotic yeah I just did a road trip last fall in my GSR with 384,000 miles, still able to get 35 mpg even with a run through Tail of the Dragon.
You're exactly right Patrick on the gaining momentum before the hills. That's why I have never used cruise control. I can hold the speed much better with my foot, although I do get an ankle cramp once in a while. 😁
Pre turbo bmw can get 30-35 mpg at 70-80mph with an NA 6 cylinder. The lengths of R&D these manufacturers go is honesty insane. And the push for emissions efficiency has then turned around and gave us more powerful cars🙏🏼
I wish these tanks were bigger. My M2 is getting 19 MPGs with all the crazy driving I have been doing. I bet I could bet over 30 MPGs on a tank with that one,
It’s essentially a honda, if Honda tells you, you are safe with regular octane, believe them. It won’t bother the car, unlike higher brands who lie about their octane intake just to have more of a premium status.
Man I’m so dumb I been putting 87 is that why I’m only Getting 311 miles😭 and I been doin it for about a month now is that bad? Definitely only 91 and up from now on
I use to make it to Columbus to Detroit roundtrip one tank doing 120 whole time in my 2.0t acccord😂. We'll see how efficient this 1.5t will be on floored😂. Its @ 3k for 72 mph😅😅
Acura's rain sensing wipers system is big time garbage. That shit gets on my nerves in my 2017 Acura TLX. I used to own a 2005 Mazda 3 that had rain sensing wipers that shit was on fucking point! It knew exactly when to sweep as if it read my mind and we are talking about a 2005 car here. Acura still hasn't figured it out in 2023... SMFH

Pics or it didn’t happen!!!! J/k congrats! I know this car is capable of it. I’d imagine a constant 40 mph?

That's the worst part about newer transmissions. Thats amazing MPGs in the GSR. I really want to drive one.

Great video 🙏🏾

😆😆😆 thanks a lot
Awesome information on twiggy again. Keep up great work and will be cool when you trade in for type S and do videos of your experiences.
I can't wait. I didn't reserve one but I'll see how it goes come June

Also with 18.5 gal tank I could squeeze 500 miles out of it if I stayed on highway

Man I'm all the way late on this one ☹
Use ethanol-free gas if possible.

It happens to the best of us. You should be ok. It’ll take regular but should only get premium
@@QueTheChaotic sounds good. Only
Doing premium from now on for sure 🤝 thanks

That's where I was coming from in this trip. You would barely get 20 lol
How can I put the little car icon in the cluster ?
By activating cruise control or lane keep assist.
Thanks I just bought my integra yesterday

MPG hack: Stay behind a truck, don't pass it. 😂
😆😆😆 the drag coefficient. Your NASCAR rubbed off on me. This comment will probably get flagged lol
@@QueTheChaotic You got this one by them. 😂
Don’t stay behind a truck or you’ll end up like me 🤣

I live in the Los Angeles in and I do city driving daily I get 25 mpg on my integra.😢
I'm not too far off with my city driving. I think the CVT would do much better for me.
Man 29 mpg whoaaaa! Brother I get like 15-16 mpg if I am lucky. The car is a real ho. She loves her booze! 😅

These wipers will come on when it's not even raining smh
@@QueTheChaotic Same with my TLX. And it takes forever to start when it starts raining. It struggles with the speed too
