The series is set in a war-torn Asian and Arctic-inspired world where certain people can "bend" one of the four classical elements-water, earth, fire, or air. Aang, the "Avatar" and the last living Airbender, is the "bridge" between the mortal and spirit worlds, and the only one capable of bending all four of the elements. The Avatar maintains the balance of the world and nature to bring peace, and Aang is now faced with the responsibility of ending the ambitions of the militaristic Fire Nation to conquer the world. With his new companions Katara and Sokka, Aang sets out to master the four classical elements while pursued by the exiled Fire Nation crown prince Zuko, who seeks to regain his honor by capturing him.
Albert Kim is set to be the showrunner, with an ensemble cast including Gordon Cormier as Avatar Ang, Dallas Liu as Prince Zuko, Kiawentiio as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as Uncle Iroh and Daniel Dae Kim as Fire Lord Ozai.

The Earth Kingdom city that you saw in the trailer was not Ba Sing Se. It was Omashu, King Bumi's city. Omashu and Ba Sing Se are completely different. Omashu is built on a montain, has all the chutes used on its famous delivery system and the division between poor and rich is almost non-existant. It's the opposite with Ba Sing Se, which is immensely vast and has all those walls that not only protect it from invaders, but also separates the elite from the rest.
Yupp, i realized that when we watched it back. I was just too hyped and I took the L for it 😅
They included the Kyoshi Warriors and other elements from the series. In the series they did show Azula in an agni Kai between Zuko and Ozai. Also at the end of book one.
I Need to check out the books then, they sound amazing.

Before it releases I recommend checking out the Kyoshi novels and they're going to be adding a character for Suzuki and being suki's mother which is a Netflix original thing I wonder what they're going to do throughout the series bringing stuff from novel and original stuff that they've been cooking up so let's hope it for its first season let's hope it turns out well and is received really well

7:07 Let’s remember Azula is also present in the very brief Agni Kai flashback, showing a sinister grin when Ozai burns Zuko, and assuming this flashback will be a little more bulky at the live action, it’s expected that we’ll see more of her there than in the animation.

I watched this and just lost my stuff hearing the music. I’m really exited for this show now.
I did not expect that at all. I expect a new original score but the fact that they are using samples of the old score made me so excited!
