I think they filmed all the scenes that were in LA from this multi parter and the next one with all the ranger actors right before they got flown out to Australia. The next two multi parters will show the rangers in what doesn’t look like where they normally film. Brennan Mejia said that with Power Rangers they’ll shoot multiple episodes at once sometimes for better efficiency with scenes that take place in the same location.

Episodes released right before the Sixth Ranger reveal normally have a more lighthearted tone, but this episode was surprisingly very dark and devastating. I'm sure it must have been a very sad and even traumatic situation for Jyou to have to sacrifice Kitarou, whom he loved and bonded with, so that he wouldn't harm people more. Jyou is definitely the most emotional, purest and kind hearted of his group.

I do like the fact that they do jou episode the same week the 20th anniversary Dekaranger (aka SPD) movie is released in Japan.

The sunset scene has a special meaning of tokusatsu. A sad and helpless fate.
