The Road was that color blue at the beginning and now they're back at the beginning, conveniently right after Billy said, "We're back at square one." It was Billy all along, creating and manipulating everything subconsciously.
The reveal that Billy was doing the exact same thing that Wanda was, with having created a pocket world unknowingly based on media they consumed as kids, was actually brilliant. I really did not see it coming. The second half of this series has been nothing but homeruns; which is WILD. I mean, all things considered, this show is a spinoff of tv show of a side character of one of the least "good" Avenger movies. We know now it's actually a Wiccan origin story, which, sure, but who knew this show would be this interesting for what it is. Way to subvert expectations.
Definitely got the feeling that Agatha stayed alive so long by feeding Rio so many bodies not that Rio was doing anything to keep Agatha alive. It's almost the opposite as Rio was pursuing her and wouldn't leave her alone.
This show made me a Wiccan fan for sure, I can’t wait to see when his character pops up again! I feel like this show was made specifically with me in mind lmao. Gay spooky witches. Check check check. I’m not usually into superhero stuff but I gave this a chance because I love Joe Locke in Heartstopper and I’m so glad I did! What a great show.
I really think he got the idea from good ol' Ralph Bohner when he was telling them what Wanda did. He heard the song and made the road real. The actual road shows up as he's being chased by the Salem Seven so maybe his fear manifested it just like Wanda's grief manifested the TV shows in Westview
Ok, before I watch. Post Wandavision, I thought it was kinda neat that Agatha would get her own show. But one thing from Wandavision had my attention; Wiccan is one of my fave Marvel characters, and the idea of seeing a character I actually like in the MCU was awesome. In WV, we got the Minimoffs, and I know the 80s limited comic series WV took inspiration from. So I was happy with the idea of a potential Young Avengers in the MCU, especially Wiccan. I didn't think much more of it until there was a casting call for the character who would eventually become "Teen," because it sounded a lot like Billy from the comics. So, I kept track of the news. (The casting call went out about 2.5 years ago). And in my heart I hoped. Then Joe Locke was cast and I already was watching Heartstopper and dang Mr. Locke had some resemblance to comics-Billy. The pieces fit together, so I'd been waiting and hoping for 2.5 years. (This was kinda the only thing keeping me interested in the MCU at all) So we get to the show, finally. And we were right. The reveal, the origin of Wiccan that doesn't cause headaches like the comic origin does when I think too hard about it, ect. But in this ep, there was that moment of absolute joy when after all the waiting, hoping, and praying we were not going to get a misdirect...that joy when Billy/William/Billiam pulls up to the fight with Death in his canon costume...it was all worth it.
So many costume changes in one episode! I hope to see Rio in a future Deadpool movie or maybe something with Moon Knight. I wonder how she feels about Moon Knight cheating death multiple times.

I also think Rio, cutting through the fabric of the road was a clue about the ‘unreality’ of it, conjured from Billy’s subconscious.
