This entire episode gave me goosebumps and honestly I don't even know if I still understand everything after every rewatch. I learnt a lot from it and I think the stuff it teaches are principles to abide by. Holy peak.
The thing that give me goosebumps are the build ups to it. All the quests they had from season1 to season2 sort of link together. And they gradually changed the relationship leading to this explosion of the “genuine thing”. Truly amazing .
As @MrJohnA17 has already pointed out, this is arguably the most important single episode of the whole series. Being hyped for it actually made go ahead and watch the rest of analysis as twitch VODs. Apart from the famous 'Something Genuine' scene, it's the episode where Sensei spills (not just to 8man, but also to the audience basically) some of the story's most important ideas -- her conclusion will probably stick with me for the rest of my life: 'When you feel you're hurting somebody, it shows that you care about them. That's what holding people dear is all about. It means you're prepared to hurt them.' And Hikigaya's speech did impact me, although it crystalized for quite a while before unveiling. When I was rewatching the show this winter, that's when it hit me how his words took their time with seeping into my self. So, you know, I'm something of a part-time yap king myself.
Was waiting this episode reaction a lot, in the novel and in the anime, this episode is one i always come back to, its just so heartwrenching but also beautiful
I feel like both Hachiman and Yukino both have alexithymia. Both pretty much tries to decipher emotions as a puzzle or logically when its not. Lets not forget that their childhood werent as good as well like how hikki was "bullied" during school and tried to be social but failed while Yukino actually got bullied in EVERY SCHOOL she attends to (Hayama failed to do anything if not worsen her view on people). Anger is the only emotion i noticed that both Hachi and Yukino being able to convey while the rest of the emotions they always say "I dont know" or "I dont understand." Yukino slamming the door after hearing the genuine confession is what strike me with these trait tbh
Hey ! I just recently found your Chanel and I’m hooked ! I have a suggestion for you and it is Bungou Stray Dogs ! I don’t know if you’ve heard of it before but it is FASCINATING to analyse ! I love psychology and I never get tired of talking about the manga ! It’s also loaded on classical literature reference which is another way of analyzing the story and better understanding the character ! I would also recommend reading some of the light novel but that might be a while until you need to read them. I would definitely recommend checking it out I’d LOVE to hear what you have to say about it ;)
The most anticipated episode of the series is finally here!
This episode was the reason I bought a genuine Windows license

The opening lyrics were created for this moment
20:33 "ima nanda =now's the time/Now or never" 38:30 "Honmono ga hoshi=I want something genuine/real"

He did it! He reacted to "the genuine scene."
Absolute favorite episode
It could be said that it is the most important episode of the entire series.
Truly one of the best single episode in anime history 🔝
I kinda want Ed's thoughts on Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines
THERE YOU ARE.
I was waiting for this so badly
I like the part when Hikki started to think because sometimes to solve something you just have to sit down and think, this was actually cinema🧐
One of the best episodes in anime period and, just for info, the other contenders for n°1 spot are still in this series.

Finally let's goooo
Is he still not back for season Three?
He won't do it unless it wins the next poll. The ones he's uploading now are in the backlog from watching them a few months ago.
Oregairu pfp nerds assemble lmao
