Fantastic tutorial! Quick question: When I add the interior extrusion to create the indentation in the blade, and then sharpen its edges with loop cuts, the subdivision subsurface creates some pretty noticeable creases traveling along the edges of the indentation to the tip of the blade. It’s very noticeable when metallic (+low roughness value) is added to the principled shader. Is the a way to avoid this? I’ve spent many hours fiddling with the loop cuts and creases but no luck.
u probably know this know, but at 1:21 with the knife if u press C it will cut through so u wont have to do the cut twice
????
This video helped so much! Thankss

Great video, but ngl, it kinda sucks as a tutorial... feels more like a "I recorded myself while doing this" than as a tutorial.
it's great for experienced blender artists to learn from each other. But i dont like that he didn't show where he got the materials from.
Brother you doing job in animation🥺🥺 please tell me
Where do you get the materials?
finished the modeling part of the tutorial and went to texture it. blender immediately crashed and everything was gone.
Just make sure to save and incremental save each time
@@vuanh857 trust me, learned that after it happened.
i had originally thought blender had an auto save 😅
